Uttarakhand State Entrance Exam (UKSEE) is a state- level entrance examination organized by the Veer Madho Singh Bhandari Uttarakhand Technical University, Dehradun. It is a public university situated on January 2005 by the Government of Uttarakhand under the Uttarakhand Technical University Act 2005.
The University is going to conduct UKSEE 2024 most likely in July 2024. This entrance test is organized for offering admission to first year of BBA LLB, B.Pharm, M. Pharm, BALLB, BHMCT, MCA, MHMCT, MBA, M.Tech, LLM, and lateral entry to B.Tech, B.Pharm at University campuses & government/private colleges of Uttarakhand.
Admission will be made on merit cum choice basis through counselling. Kindly note that, admission to lateral degree courses i.e. B.Tech, B.Pharma will be given to Uttarakhand candidates only.

UKSEE 2024 Eligibility Criteria
As per the latest AICTE norms, eligibility criteria of UKSEE are given below.

B.Tech Lateral Entry course | Only candidates who have Uttarakhand domicile can apply for this course. Aspirants must have completed 3-year/ 2year diploma courses from an AICTE approved institution with a minimum 45% score (for the general category) and at least a 40% score (for the reserved category) in any branch of technology/engineering.
Applicants, who have completed B.Sc degree from AICTE approved institution with a minimum 45% score (for general) and 40% score (for reserved category) are also eligible to apply for the exam. It should be noted that such candidates must have cleared both the 2nd year and 1st year engineering subjects of engineering mechanics/engineering graphics/engineering drawing. |
B.Pharma 1st year and lateral entry | Candidates seeking admission to 1st year of B.Pharma through UKSEE are required to clear their 10+2 exam with at least 45% marks (for general) and 40% marks (for reserved category).
In addition, they must pass the qualifying exam with Physics, and Chemistry as mandatory subjects along with any one subject of Biotechnology/ Biology/ Mathematics courses. For admission to B.Pharm lateral entry to second year, candidates must have the Uttarakhand domicile. Moreover, they have to clear diploma exam from a PCI-approved institution with at least of 45% marks (40% for reserved category).

BBA LLB, BA LLB and BHMCT- 1ST year | Candidates must have passed their HSC exam or an equivalent exam with minimum of 45% marks (40% for reserved category). |
M.Tech – 1st year | Candidates must have completed a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in the related stream with a minimum 50% (45% for reserved category).
GATE qualified candidates will get the first preference. If the seats are still vacant, students who clear the university’s entrance exam will be offered admission. |
M.Pharm- 1st year | Candidates must have done Bachelor’s in Pharmacy from a recognized university with a minimum of 55% marks (50% for reserved category).
First preference will be given to GPAT qualified candidates then the available seats will be offered to UKSEE shortlisted candidates (in order of merit). |
MBA | Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university and have obtained at least 50% on their qualifying exam (45% in the case of candidates from reserved categories). CAT/MAT qualified students will be offered admission through counselling first. |

MHMCT 1st year | For admission to MHMCT first year, applicants must have passed a four-year bachelor’s degree in hotel management, or a 3-year degree in a related stream, or a 3-year diploma in hotel management with two years of industrial teaching experience. Candidates holding a graduate degree in any field with at least 45% in the qualifying exam (40% for reserved category) are eligible to apply. |
Exam Pattern
The UKSEE entrance test will be conducted in offline mode with the duration of 2 hours for each paper. It is an objective type paper and the language of paper is English and Hindi. UKSEE is conducted for nine papers.
The candidates are required to choose papers and subjects for appearing in the exam. One mark will be given for each right response. There is no negative marking in the exam. All objective type questions are needed to be answered on OMR answer sheets.

UKSEE 2024 Application Form
UKSEE 2024 Application form will be available through online mode only. It is expected that the application form will be released in May 2024. Candidates have to fill the form correctly as per the instructions given in the brochure. Applicants will also have to upload their photograph and scanned copy of signature in the appropriate box.
Candidates are advised to verify all the details before submitting the duly filled form because changes can’t be performed after the submission of application form. In case of any discrepancy, the application form will be rejected. After submitting the form, take the print out of the submitted form and keep the same for further references.

Candidates have to pay Rs 1500/ as UKSEE 2024 Application fee (Rs 750/ for candidates belonging to SC and ST category).
Note: The application fee is non-refundable/nontransferable and can be paid online debit card, via credit card, or net banking.
Admit Card
The UKSEE admit card will be available online mode only. It is assumed that the officials will release the admit card in July 2024. Candidates who have submitted their application form successfully can download hall ticket from the official website of conducting body.
To download admit card, candidates need to provide their application number and date of birth in the online portal. UKSEE Hall ticket is the most important document to appear in the exam. Candidates are advised to keep their admit card till the admission process is over.
UKSEE 2024 Syllabus
Aspirants who are going to appear in this exam are advised to check the complete syllabus of UKSEE before starting the exam preparations. With a proper understanding of the syllabus and pattern, students can prepare themselves accordingly.
The syllabus of UKSEE 2024 for undergraduate courses will consist of questions from PCB/PCM of class 11th &12th. For PG courses, the syllabus will cover the questions from relevant undergraduate courses.
UKSEE Examination Centers
The examination will be organized at Dehradun, Haldwani, Gopeshwar, Srinagar, Roorkee, New Tehri, Pithoragarh and Dwarahat. It is mandatory for the candidates to reach their test centre at least one hour before the starting of the examination. Late entry will not be allowed in the exam. Use of electronic devices/ mobile phones are strictly prohibited at the examination centre.
Answer Key
Candidates can check the answer keys on the official website of UTU. The answer keys will be made available after the successful conduction of the exam. Candidates can access the answer key by providing login credentials.
Students will be allowed to put an objection against the provisional answer key. After considering the question challenged, officials will update the final answer key.
Result
It is expected that Result will be announced by July 2024. Applicants who appeared in the exam can check their result by browsing the official website. To download UKSEE Result, candidates need to provide an application number and password on the online portal.
A separate merit list will be prepared by the authority based on the scores achieved in the exam. Selected candidates will be called for counselling as per their merit score.
UKSEE 2024 Counselling
The authority will conduct the counselling process most probably on the third week of July 2024. Candidates who qualify the exam successfully will be called for counselling process. The process of seat allotment in various courses under Government or private colleges will be made through counselling.
Admission will be made completely on the basis of meri. The process of counselling will include verification of documents and allotment of courses and institution depending on seat availability.
Qualified candidates have to bring their original documents like 10th/12th mark sheet, entrance exam score card, 10th/12th passing certificate, transfer certificate, migration certificate, domicile certificate, category certificate, admit card, character certificate, and medical fitness certificate etc. during the time of counselling.
