The eligibility criteria for Visva Bharati University admission 2023 are different for various courses. Given below are the eligibility criteria for some of the important courses.

    • 10+2 or equivalent with 60% marks in aggregate and 60% marks in Bengali (General/Elective). 54% for OBC candidates

  • The admission to some UG courses will be offered based on the qualifying exam merit. On the other hand, admission to some UG courses will be based on the entrance test.
  • Admissions to courses like B.A. – Santali, BFA, B.Music, B.Des – Design, B.Voc. etc. will be provided based on the entrance test.
  • The admission to PG level course is provided on the basis of admission test organized by respective departments of the university.
  • For general candidates, the minimum qualifying marks is 30 out of 100 (27 out of 100 for OBC). There are no minimum qualifying marks for SC/ ST candidates.
