VMOU Admission 2022: Application Form, Dates, Eligibility Criteria

Vardhman Mahaveer Open University (VMOU) grants the candidates admissions into its different diploma, PG diploma, bachelors’ and masters’ degree program. The university conducts entrance exam for admissions into B.Ed and MBA courses. Admission into other courses will be offered on the basis of merit. The enrolment will be offered to the candidates in two sessions: January and July and the candidates can apply for any session as per their wish. Exam Pattern

The exam pattern for Management Entrance Test (MET) 2022 conducted by VMOU for admission into MBA course is given as:

• Duration of exam: 120 minutes
• Mode of exam: Offline
• Type of questions: Objective type
• Number of questions: 100
• Total marks: 100
• Marking scheme: Each question carries 1 mark.
• Negative marking: There will be no negative marking for any wrong answer.

VMOU Application Form 2022

The application form for VMOU Admission 2022 will be released on the official website of the university. The application form will be released twice a year for January and July session in the month of January and July itself.

• In the online application form, the candidates will have to provide their personal details, academic details, contact details, etc.
• The candidates will also have to upload the scanned copies of their photograph, signature and other important documents.
• After providing all the information in the application, the candidates can submit the form.
• The candidates are advised to keep a copy of the application form along with them in case of any future reference.
• The candidates will also have to submit application fee to complete the process of application. The application fee for management program will be Rs. 1000/-.
• The fee submission can be done through e-Mitra or online banking.

Eligibility Criteria

The following eligibility criteria must be fulfilled by the candidates who wish to apply for VMOU Admission 2022:

• For BCA: The candidates who have passed their 10+2 or equivalent exam in any discipline from any recognized board are eligible. Those who have passed the BAP/ BCP/ BSCP examination from recognized Open University are also eligible.
• For MCA: The applicants should have passed their bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a recognized university in any discipline with at least second division.
• For MBA: Graduation with 50% marks or bachelor’s degree with three years of supervisory/ managerial/ professional experience or Professional qualification in accountancy/ cost and works accountancy/ company secretary etc or Master’s degree in any subject is required to be eligible for admission into MBA course.

Admit Card

• The admit card for the entrance exam conducted by the VMOU will be released a few days before the day of exam.
• The candidates can download their admit card from the official university website.
• The admit card is an important document that will not only be required at the time of exam but at the time of admission as well.
• The candidates who do not carry their admit card will not be allowed to appear for the exam.

Result and Admission

• The VMOU entrance exam result 2022 will be released a few weeks after the exam.
• The candidates will be able to check their result in online mode.
• The candidates who qualify the exam will then be allowed to take part in the admission process.
• For the courses for which entrance will not be conducted, the admission will be granted on the basis of merit list prepared by the university.
