Telangana B.Tech Admission 2022: Telangana, the state of India which has been separated from Andhra Pradesh after many disputes. Telangana and Andhra Pradesh share Hyderabad as the same capital. Telangana is the home of many engineering institutes and colleges where candidates can take admission in such institutes to pursue the bachelor degree of technology (B.TECH).

Telangana B.Tech Eligibility Criteria

There are some points about the eligibility criteria which every applicant should keep in their mind so that they can make certain that they are eligible to take admission the engineering colleges of Telangana. The points are as given below:

• Candidates must be a citizen of India.
• They must have permanent domicile of Telangana also.
• In addition to that, the applicants must have completed their higher secondary level education from a recognized board.
• Except that, candidates who are planning to appear in the higher secondary examination will also be eligible to take part in the admission process.

Entrance Exam for Engineering Admission in Telangana

There will be a process of admission and firstly, they will have to pass the entrance examination also. Candidates will be offered admission in the various engineering institutes of Telangana on the basis of the scores attained by the candidates in the entrance examination.

• Candidates will have to appear for TS EAMCET and must keep the score card with them till the admission process ends.
• Those, who have appeared for the JEE Exam, will be eligible to take admission in the institutes to pursue the degree of B.Tech.
• Candidates can have the score or rank card of the GATE & TS PGECET exams to be eligible to take admission in the engineering colleges.

Telangana B.Tech Selection Procedure

Candidates will take admission in the institutes on the basis of the score attained by them in the entrance examination. The admission board will also see the performance of the candidates in the higher secondary level examination.  After the commencement of the entrance examination, admission will make the merit list which will be based on the marks of the candidates in the entrance examination.

There will be counseling of the candidates after the entrance exam.

• Every applicant will have to appear for the process of counseling after the commencement of the entrance examination.
• The counseling board will decide the college for the candidates on the basis of performance of the candidates in the entrance examination.
• Candidates will be allotted the appropriate colleges after counseling and candidates can take admission in the allotted college.
• Candidates will have to pay the admission fee after filling and submitting the admission application form.
