AISSEE Eligibility Criteria 2024

The eligibility criteria are different for class 6th and 9th admission as explained below.

For class 6th admission

  • The age of a candidate should be between 10 and 12 years as on 31 March 2024.
  • Girl candidates are eligible for admission.

For class 9th admission

  • The age of a candidate must be between 13 and 15 years as on 31 March 2023.
  • Admissions will not be provided to girl students.
  • Candidates must have passed class 8th from a recognized school at the time of admission.

AISSEE Application Form 2024

Here are the steps to submit AISSEE application form 2024. Please note that the form has been released on the official website of NTA.  

  • First of all, you need to visit the NTA’s official website i.e. https://exams.nta.ac.in/AISSEE/.
  • Then, register yourself on the portal using your unique Email Id and Mobile Number.
  • After that, you must provide your accurate personal and educational details in the application form.
  • Next, upload the following documents in the application form.
    • Candidate’s Photograph (10 kb to 200 kb)
    • Candidate’s Signature ( 4 kb to 30 kb)
    • left-hand thumb impression of the candidate (10 kb to 50 kb)
    • Domicile Certificate
    • Date of Birth Certificate
    • Caste/ Community/ Category Certificate (if applicable)
    • Certificate of service (for Defence category-serving) and PPO for Ex-servicemen.
  • In the next step, you must pay the necessary application fee.
  • Finally, download and print copies of the confirmation page after successful fee payment and keep copies safe for future requirements.

Mode of fee payment – The application fee can be paid online using a Debit/ Credit Card/ Net-banking/ UPI.

Admit Card

  • AISSEE Admit Card will be released on NTA’s official website.
  • To download the admit card, candidates will have to provide their application number.
  • AISSEE Admit Card is a crucial document that contains important information such as roll number, examination center, and timings.
  • Please note that candidates must have the following documents with them while appearing for the exam.
    • Admit card (with Self Declaration on it downloaded from NTA website) with passport size photograph and thumb impression affixed on it.
    • Valid and original Photo ID proof
    • Passport-size photograph for affixing on the attendance sheet
  • If a candidate is unable to download the admit card then he/ she should approach the Help Line between 10.00 am and 5.00 pm (Monday to Saturday).

Tips to Crack AISSEE 2024

Counselling and Admission

  • After the result declaration, qualified candidates will apply for e-counselling.
  • Admission will be provided on the basis of the position of the candidate in the Merit List of AISSEE 2024.
  • After selection, the admission will be confirmed after the medical fitness test and document verification.
