Ayush NET Scheme & Syllabus 2022: No. of Questions, MCQ, Negative Marking

In this write-up, we have explained all possible information about Ayush NET exam pattern and syllabus. Both have a very crucial role if you want to secure considerable marks in the exam. There will be a single paper MCQ based test that is supposed to be held in the second week of November 2022. We’ll update the exact date of examination through this post.

Pattern for Ayush NET Examination

Ayush NET is a single paper MCQ based test. The test paper comprises of 120 questions of 1 mark each. All questions are compulsory in nature. For each incorrect attempt, 0.25 marks would be deducted from the total. The language mode of the question paper in English only. Have a look at the detailed description of the exam pattern:

Part I: This part is compulsory for all streams and common to all subjects on General Science and Research Aptitude.

Part II: In conventional AYUSH subject concerned as under:

  1. Ayurveda
  2. Yoga & Naturopathy
  3. Unani
  4. Siddha
  5. Homeopathy

Ayush NET Syllabus

The question paper is to be divided into two major sections (Part I & Part II) according to the syllabus prescribed and Ph.D. Fellowship scheme.

Part I (Aptitude Section)

  • The section is made compulsory for candidates belonging to all streams.
  • There will be 30 questions in total and are common to all subjects on General Science and Research Aptitude.
  • The paper comprises of questions belonging to General Aptitude with emphasis on logical reasoning, analytical and numerical ability, graphical analysis, quantitative comparison, series formation, puzzles, etc and Research Methodology.

Subject Specific Section (Part-II-A/Y/U/S/H)

There will be five disciplines are Ayurveda, Yoga & Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha, Homoeopathy. The paper will contain subject-related multiple-choice questions according to the syllabus prescribed by the Central Council of Indian Medicine (CCIM) in concerned undergraduate degree courses for Ayurveda, Unani & Siddha (B.A.M.S., B.U.M.S., and B.S.M.S., respectively); by the Central Council for Homoeopathy (CCH) is concerned undergraduate degree course (B.H.M.S.) for Homoeopathy and as the syllabus provided by the Central Council for Research in Yoga & Naturopathy (CCRYN) for Yoga & Naturopathy.

If a particular question is found wrong then the benefit will be transferred to candidates who attempted the same.

On review of representations by the subject experts, if it is found that along with the original answer key one more option(s) is correct then marks will be awarded to all those candidates who have attempted any one of the correct options.
