Eligibility Criteria
Applicants seeking admission into any M.Phil programme must have cleared Master’s degree Examination of Sambalpur University in the concerned subject or an examination recognized by Sambalpur University as equivalent thereto, with scoring minimum of 55% marks (48% marks in-service candidates and 50% marks for admission into M.Phil course in Library & Information Science) in the aggregate.
Candidates, who have appeared the qualifying examination and awaiting the results of same, may also eligible to apply. However, such candidates have to produce the Provisional Certificate and Mark sheet of the qualifying examination as per the specified schedule.
Sambalpur University M.Phil Admission Application Form: How to apply?
- At first, candidates should open the official website link of University i.e. http://www.suniv.ac.in
- Click on “online admission” or http://eadmission.suniv.ac.in link
- Now, candidates are advised to download the Prospectus for M.Phil. Courses, and read it carefully before starting the filling up process.
- Make the payment of Rs.500/- through State Bank Collect during registration for online admission. The payment of application fee can be made through Debit Card, Credit Card, and Net Banking facility of any Bank.
- Thereafter, candidates should register themselves by providing some basic details like their name, course name, email ID, DU Reference Number (given by the Bank).
- After successful registration, candidates can start filling up the form online. Enter the details carefully and then click the submit button.
- Candidate should take a printout of duly filled application form and send it to the respective Head of the Department, Sambalpur University, Jyoti Vihar-768019, Sambalpur (ODISHA) along with the necessary documents before the given deadline.
- Applications received after the due date will not be entertained.
Admit Card
Candidates can download the admit card for MPhil entrance test only after the release of official notification. The respective date of releasing admit card will be updated to you at later stage.

Sambalpur University Selection Procedure for M.Phil Admission
