Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must satisfy below eligibility conditions before applying for admission at Sambalpur University.
- An applicant must have done 3-year degree examinations in Science/ Arts/Commerce/Law (B.A. / B.Com/ B.Sc/LLB) from Sambalpur University or any equivalent examination from a UGC recognized University
- They should have done Honours in the related subject with scoring the minimum of 45% in aggregate in the same examination.
- For SC/ST category the prescribed qualifying marks for admission to PG programmes/Self-financing programmes will not be persevered upon. Applicants, who have appeared for the qualifying examinations and waiting for the results, are also eligible to apply. Such applicants should produce the results of the qualifying examination on or before the date of entrance exam otherwise their applications will be rejected

The applicants must download the Prospectus for PG Regular or Self-financing programmes as the case may be and read it carefully before filling up of application form online
They need to submit Rs.500/- as required processing fee through State Bank Collect; the application fee payment process is as follows:
Process for remitted the processing fee of Rs.500/- online using State Bank Collect facility; payment of application fees can be made by using Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking facility of any Bank besides going through any SBI branch to sent by Cash or Cheque drawn on any SBI Branch
