SAAT M.Tech Eligibility Criteria 2021
Please have a look on basic eligibility condition for admission in M.Tech programme offered at Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan University:
- Candidates should have obtained at least 50% marks in aggregate in qualifying exam.
- Candidates having valid GATE score are exempted from appearing in the entrance test, however they need to apply in order to be considered for admission process.
Discipline Wise Eligibility Conditions

- For M.Tech in Computer Science. & Data Processing: Candidates should hold B.E. / B.Tech / AMIE in Information Technology/ Computer Science Engineering are eligible for admission. Those have qualifying degree as MCA/ M.Sc. (Maths) are also permitted to apply.
- For M.Tech in Electronics & Communication Engineering: Candidates should hold B.Tech/B.E/AMIE in Electronics and Communication Engineering or they should have completed M.Sc in Electronics.
- For M.Tech in Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering: Candidates should hold AMIE/B.E. / B.Tech in Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering or they should have completed M.Sc. in Electronics.
- For M.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering and Computer Science & Information Technology: Candidates who have completed B.E/B.Tech with Computer Science or Information Technology are permitted to apply.
- For M.Tech Environmental Science & Technology: Candidates should hold B.Tech. degree in Chemical / Environmental / Civil /Metallurgy/ Mechanical or they should have completed M.Sc. in Chemistry / Environmental Science / Biotechnology / Life Science / Geology / Zoology/ Botany.
- For M.Tech in Material Science & Technology: Candidates should hold B.Tech degree in Electronic & Communication Engineering or Electrical Engineering or M.Sc in Physics and Chemistry.
- For B.Tech in Civil Engineering: Candidates should hold AMIE/B.E/B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
- For B.Tech in Electrical Engineering: Candidates should hold AMIE/B.E/B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.
- For B.Tech in Biotechnology: Candidates should hold B.E/B.Tech degree in Biotechnology or associated field or they should have completed M.Sc programmes in Chemistry, Physics, Biotechnology, Life Science or its equivalent.
