KIITEE 2021: Exam Date, Application Form, Eligibility Criteria

Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology will release the application form for Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology Entrance Exam 2021 or KIITEE 2021. This exam is a gateway for admission to all the courses at KIIT (except MBBS, BDS, PG Medical & PG Dental course). Different entrance exams will be conducted for different courses. The candidates looking to appear for KIITEE will be able to access the application form online. It is being notified that the application form has been released on 10th December 2020.

The KITTEE 2021 exam will be held at various exam centers all over India. The mode of exam will be online (Computer-based test) and duration of exam will be 180 minutes.

Important Highlights – KIITEE 2021

The candidates looking to appear for the KIITEE exam should check the important highlights of the exam as given below:

  • The application form will be released online. The institute will not release a hardcopy of the application form.
  • The duration of all the exams regardless of the course will be 180 minutes.
  • The exam will be organized at various exam centers across India only in online mode.
  • The eligibility criteria will be different for all the courses. The candidates should check the eligibility criteria carefully before submitting the application form.

Exam Pattern

The exam pattern for KIITEE 2021 exam will be as follows:

  • Mode of Exam: Online (Computer Based Test)
  • Type of Questions: Objective type multiple choice questions
  • Number of Questions: 120
  • Duration of Exam: 3 hours
  • Total Marks: 480
  • Marking Scheme: 4 Marks will be awarded for every correct answer
  • Negative Marking: 1 mark will be deducted for an incorrect answer

Subjects and Syllabus

The subjects/ syllabus of the entrance exam for different courses will be as follows:

B.Tech/ B.Arch/ B.Sc Nursing: Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Mathematics

B.Tech (Lateral Entry): Mathematics, Basic Electrical Engineering, Engineering Mechanics

BBA/ BCA/ B.Des/ BA.LLB/ BBA.LLB/ BSc.LLB: Mathematical Ability, Analytical & Logical Ability, Verbal Ability, General Knowledge.

MCA/ M.Sc Computer Science: Mathematics, Analytical & Logical Ability and Computer Awareness

Master of Mass Communication: English, Analytical Reasoning, Current Affair, Basic knowledge of Mass Media

KIITEE Eligibility Criteria 2021

The eligibility criteria of KIITEE 2021 will be different for all the courses as given below:

For B.Tech Admission

  • The candidate must have born on or after 1st July 2000
  • The aspirant must have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam with at least 60% aggregate marks in Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry.

For B.Sc. Nursing Admission

  • The age of a candidate should be between 17 to 35 years
  • The candidate must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Biology, Chemistry and English subject with a minimum of 45% aggregate marks.

For B.A. LLB/ BBA LLB/ B.Sc. LLB Admission

  • The age of an aspirant must be less than 22 years as on 1st July 2021.
  • The applicant must have passed 10+2 with at least 45% marks.
  • For B.SC. LLB, the candidates must have passed 10+2 in science stream only.

For BBA

  • The applicant must have born on or after 1st July 2000.
  • It is compulsory that the candidate must have passed 10+2 with Business Mathematics/ Mathematics/ Statistics/ Economics as one of the subjects and a minimum of 50% marks.

For BCA

  • The date of birth of an applicant should be on or after 1st July 2000.
  • The applicants must have passed the 10+2 exam with Mathematics as one of the subjects and a minimum of 50% marks.

For Bachelor of Design (Fashion/ Textile)

  • The candidate must have born on or after 1st July 2000.
  • The applicant must have passed 10+2 exam with at least 50% marks.

For MCA

  • The date of birth of a candidate should be on or after 1st July 1995.
  • Any graduate with at least 50% marks at graduation level can apply.
  • The aspirant must have studied Maths either at 10+2 or graduation level.

KIITEE Application Form 2021

  • In order to apply for KIITEE 2021, the candidates have to fill and submit the application form that will be available on the official website i.e. https://kiitee.kiit.ac.in.
  • To access the application form, the candidates first have to register themselves online.
  • After registration, the candidates have to enter their details in the application form.
  • Along with the details, the candidates need to upload the scanned images of the following documents.
    • Passport Size Photograph
    • Signature of the candidates
    • Class 10th Mark sheet/ Certificate
  • After submitting the application form, the candidates should take a print out of submitted application form before the last date.

Application Fee

  • There is no application or exam fee for KIITEE 2021 exam.

Admit Card

  • The admit card for the exam KIITEE will be released online through the official website of the institute.
  • Please note that the institute will not dispatch the hard copy of the admit cards.
  • The details regarding the exam date, time and venue will be mentioned on the admit card.
  • It is mandatory for every candidate to carry the hard copy of the downloaded admit card at the examination center.
  • The candidates should keep the admit card safe till the admission process gets over.

KITEE 2021 Result

  • The result, as well as the merit list of KIITEE exam, will be released on the official website.
  • In order to check the result, the candidates have to provide their application number.
  • The merit list will be created solely on the basis of marks secured by the candidates.
  • Separate merit list will be released for different courses.

Counselling

  • The successful candidates will be invited to take part in the counselling process.
  • The schedule of counselling will be published on the official website soon after the declaration of result.
  • At the time of counselling the candidates have to get their documents verified.
  • The candidates need to carry the following documents at the time of counselling
    • Rank Card
    • Admit Card
    • 10th pass certificate
    • 12th class mark sheet and certificate
    • Graduation mark sheet and certificate (applicable only for MCA, MCA(LE), M.Sc)
    • Diploma mark sheet and certificate (for lateral entry candidates)
    • Degree certificate of B.E./ B.Tech/ M.Sc/ MCA (applicable only for LLM/ M.Tech/ Ph.D Candidates)
    • Category certificate (if claiming reservation)
    • GATE Score Card (for M.Tech, GATE Qualified only)
    • Demand Draft of Rs. 75000/- which includes Rs. 10000/- (Non-Refundable) as counselling registration fees.
    • The DD should be drawn in favour of KIIT, Payable at Bhubaneswar.
