KIITEE Eligibility Criteria 2023: Eligibility for Graduate and Postgraduate Programme

The candidates who wish to appear for the KIITEE must meet the eligibility requirements laid for the exam. Only the applicants who fulfill the KIITEE Eligibility Criteria 2023 will be considered for admissions. Those who clear the entrance exam but fail to meet the eligibility requirement at the time of counseling will not be granted enrollment into the institute. Any kind of cost incurred such as application fee, travel allowance, etc will not be refunded to such candidates. Therefore, it is safe to match the KIITEE Eligibility Criteria 2023 before submitting the application for the exam.

The detailed eligibility criteria to be fulfilled by the candidates, based on the course they wish to get admissions into, are given below:

KIITEE Eligibility Criteria 2023 for graduate courses

• For B.Tech/ B.Tech & M.Tech (Dual Degree) Biotechnology: It is necessary for the candidates to clear their class 12^th exam with at least 60% marks in aggregate of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics taken together. The candidates’ date of birth must fall on or after 01.07.2003.
• For B.Tech- LE: The candidates should have done 3-year Diploma in Engineering from a relevant discipline with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks. The candidates should have born on or after 01.07.2000.
• For B.Arch: A pass in 10+2 examination or its equivalent from a recognized board securing 60% marks in aggregate with Mathematics as a subject and a pass in the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) is mandatory. The candidates should have born on or after 01.07.2003.
• For B.Sc. Nursing: Those applicants who have passed their class 12^th exam with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English with at least 45% marks in aggregate are eligible. The lower and upper age limit as on 31.12.23 is 17 and 35 years respectively.
• For BA.LLB/ BBA.LLB: The applicants must pass their 10+2 exam in any stream with at least 45% aggregate marks. The candidate must be less than 21 years of age as on 01.07.23.
• For B.Sc.LLB: The applicants should have passed their class 12^th exam in Science stream with at least 45% aggregate marks. The candidate must be less than 21 years of age as on 01.07.23.
• For BBA: A pass in HSC exam with at least 50% marks and Mathematics/ Business Mathematics/ Economics/ Statistics as one of the subjects is required. The candidates’ date of birth must fall on or after 01.07.2003.
• For BCA: A pass in 10+2 in any stream with at least 50% marks and having Mathematics as a subject at 10+2 level is required. The candidates should have born on or after 01.07.2003.
• For Bachelor of Design (Fashion/ Textile)/ Bachelor of Film & Television Production: The candidate must clear the class 12^th exam with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks. The candidate should have born on or after 01.07.2003.
• For Master of Mass Communication (Integrated): The candidate must clear the class 12^th exam with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks. The candidate should have born on or after 01.07.2003.

KIITEE Eligibility Criteria 2023 for postgraduate courses

• For MCA: The candidate must have done his/ her graduation from a recognized university and have scored at least 50% marks. Mathematics as a subject either at 10+2 or graduation level is mandatory. Candidate should have born on or after 01.07.2000.
• For MCA (LE): Those who have passed BCA, B.Sc. (IT/ Computer Science/ IST/ ITM) with a minimum 50% marks from any recognized University are eligible. The date of birth of the candidate must fall on or after 01.07.1999.
• For M.Tech: The candidate must hold BE/ B.Tech. or equivalent Degree in respective branches of Engineering with a First Class or equivalent CGPA or First Class MCA/ First Class M.Sc. in (Comp/ IT/ ETC). Candidates with more than 400 marks in GATE will be exempted from appearing in the exam.
• For M.Sc. (Biotechnology/ Applied Microbiology): A bachelor’s degree in any branch of Science/ Agriculture/ Pharmacy/ Veterinary/ Engineering/ Technology/ Medicine (MBBS/ BDS) with at least 55% marks is required. The candidate should have been born on or after 01.07.2000.
• For M.Sc. Nursing: The candidates must pass B.Sc. Nursing/ B.Sc. Hons. Nursing/ Post Basic B.Sc Nursing with minimum of 55% aggregate marks from an institution recognized by Indian Nursing Council. Minimum 1-year of work experience is also mandatory. Candidate should be medically fit and should be a registered Nurse or Registered midwife or equivalent with any state Nursing Registration Council.
• For LL.M: The applicant should have passed B.A.LLB/BBA LLB/B.Sc. LLB/B.L or equivalent degree from recognized university with at least 55% of marks in aggregate.
• For Master of Public Health: The candidates should hold a Bachelor’s degree in any Health Science (MBBS/ BDS/ BAMS/ BHMS/ BNYS/ BPT/ B.Sc Nursing/ B.Sc Nursing Post Basic/ B.Pharm) from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.
• For Master of Hospital Administration: Those with a degree of MBBS/ BDS/ BAMS/ BHMS/ BNYS/ BPT/ B.Sc Nursing/ B.Sc Nursing Post Basic/ B.Pharm/ B.Sc in Allied Health Sciences/ Bachelor degree in Arts/Commerce/Science/Law with at least 50% aggregate marks are eligible.
• For Integrated Dual Degree M.Sc & Ph.D Programme (Applied Physics/ Applied Chemistry/ Mathematics and Data Sciences): The candidates with B.Sc./B.E./B.Tech or equivalent degree with at least 60% marks can apply. Applicants with Bachelor’s Degree with Physics/ Chemistry/ Mathematics as one of the main subjects or Engineering graduates with a strong aptitude are eligible to apply.
• For M.A. (Yoga Therapy): Those who have done graduation in any degree are eligible.
• For Ph.D: The candidates having M.Tech/ ME/ MCA/ MBA or equivalent degree with minimum 60% marks or M.Sc./ MA/ M.Com/ LLM or an equivalent degree with minimum of 55% marks can apply.

Important Note:

The candidates who have passed IB Diploma from International Baccalaureate Organization, Geneva, Switzerland are eligible for admissions in all the courses where eligibility is 10+2. Other criteria of the eligibility remain as applicable.

KIITEE Application Form

The candidates who meet the KIITEE Eligibility Criteria 2023 can submit their application form. The application form has been released now. In the application form, the candidates will have to provide their personal and educational details. The candidates can either fill and submit the form online or can download the form, fill it and submit offline. There will be no application fee for the entrance test.
