Kerala Polytechnic 2022: The Directorate of Technical Education, Kerala will be organizing Kerala Polytechnic 2022 admission process to enroll the candidates into diploma courses offered in the engineering and technology (stream 1) and in Commercial Practice and Computer Application & Business Management (stream 2). The admissions will be granted on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying exam. The interested candidates can submit their application form starting from 15th July 2022. Kerala Polytechnic Eligibility Criteria 2022

The candidates before applying for Kerala Polytechnic 2022 must ensure these eligibility criteria:

Nationality:

The candidates should be of Indian nationality.

Domicile:

The applicants should be a native of Kerala or have passed their qualifying exam from Kerala or the parent of the candidates should be a permanent employee of Central/ State/ Quasi Government/ Public Sector undertaking in state of Kerala.

Qualification:

  • The applicants should clear their SSLC/ THSLC with Mathematics, English and Science subjects in not more than two sittings.
  • Those who have passed their qualifying exam with Mathematics and English only will be able to apply for stream 2.

Kerala Polytechnic 2022 Application Form

The application form can be obtained by the candidates from the official website https://www.polyadmission.org/. In order to help the candidates who do not have access to internet facilities, help desks will be set up at different polytechnic institutions. The candidates will have to provide all the important personal details, educational details, contact details and any other details asked in the application form. The candidates will then have to submit the duly-filed application form in online mode. After that, the candidates should take a printout of the application form, attach self-attested copies of the relevant documents and send it to the polytechnic institute in which they seek admission. An application fee of Rs. 150/- (Rs. 75/- for SC/ ST candidates) will also be submitted along with the printout of the application form.

Kerala Polytechnic 2022 Rank List

The selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of marks scored in SSLC/ THSLC or equivalent exam. Based on SSLC/ THSLC marks, index marks will be calculated and a list will be prepared as per the index marks obtained by the candidates, option exercised and reservation criteria (if any). The rank list for centralized allotment will be published and the candidates will be able to check this list by visiting the official website.

First, a provisional rank list will be made for the candidates to verify their ranking and satisfy themselves regarding their position in the list. Those who have any query/ complaint regarding this list can approach the Principal of the polytechnic college where the application form was submitted with a specific request within 3 days after the release of the list. After that, the final rank list will be prepared and allotment of seats will begin as per the final list.

Centralized Allotment Process

The Centralised Allotment Process for allotment to various programmes and colleges will be conducted through a Single Window System (SWS) on the basis of options exercised by the candidates. The candidates will be allowed to exercise a maximum of 30 options of their choice in their application. Those who are not satisfied with the allotted option can forfeit their seats and claim for higher option by registering the same at any of the Government /Aided Polytechnic Colleges.

The candidates who have been allotted a seat and are satisfied with it, they must join the allotted college by submitting the required fee and certificates within the stipulated time. If the candidate fails to join the college within time, he/ she will lose the existing allotment and will not be considered for any further allotment.
