Kerala M.Tech Admission 2017: Candidates having valid GATE score are eligible to get admission into M.Tech programme in the institutions of Kerala state. If seats remain vacant then admission is given to students based on candidates’ academic performance. All GATE and Non-GATE qualified candidates are required to attend the counselling process commencing in the month of June, 2017.

Check Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must ensure their eligibility before they proceed further to apply for Kerala M.Tech admission 2017:
- Only GATE qualified candidates are permitted to apply for admission. If seats are vacant the candidates’ academic performance will be considered for admission.
- Candidates should have cleared B.E/B.Tech in their related discipline along with securing at least 60% marks in aggregate (45% for PwD/SC/ST category applicants).
- Candidates having AMIE/AMIETE along with 55% marks in section B and hold professional experience of minimum three years are permitted to apply.
- Final year candidates may apply subject of fulfilling the minimum required criteria before the given deadline.
- Candidates obtained qualifying exam degree from Kerala will be given more preference over all other candidates.
How to Apply for Kerala M.Tech Admission 2017?

- Only online mode of application is available for candidates.
- Candidates will be asked to enter their personal, academic and other necessary details in the application form. All inputs should be made by applicants genuinely.
- Put your preference for colleges and courses during application form filling procedure.
- Upon filling the necessary choices candidates need to submit their application form.
- Next step is downloading SBI bank challan for making the payment of application fee at the nearest SBI branch.
- At the last, candidates need to submit hard copy of their filled in application form along with DTE copy of SBI challan to the address furnished below:

Counselling Procedure
- Three rounds of counselling will be conducted.
- Candidates must fill their choices of colleges and courses while filling up the application form.
- Allotment of seats will be made through candidates’ performance in GATE exam and preference given by them.
- For the vacant seats, preference will be given to Kerala state aspirants who do not have GATE score.
- Upon completion of the allotment process, candidates need to download their provisional letter.
