DASA PG 2022 application form has been released on 30th July 2022 in online mode. Direct Admission of Students Abroad (DASA) PG is an admission scheme for Foreign Nationals/ Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs)/ Non-Resident Indians (NRIs). This scheme is managed by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India. The admission will be provided in Master of Technology (M. Tech) programs in premier institutes like ITs, IIEST, IIITs, Central Universities, Schools of Planning and Architecture (SPAs), and other institutes. DASA PG 2022 Eligibility Criteria

It is important for the candidates to ensure that they are eligible before filling the application form. Given below are the eligibility criteria that must be filled by the applicants.

Age Limit

  • There are no age limit criteria.

Educational Qualifications

  • Aspirants must have passed an undergraduate programme in Engineering/ Technology or equivalent in the relevant discipline with a minimum of 60% aggregate or 6.50 CGPA from a recognized institute/ university.
  • Candidates must have scored a minimum of 300 in GRE and at least 480 in GMAT.

Residential Requirement

  • Applicants must be Foreign Nationals, PIOs, OCIs who have completed undergraduate programme in any country (including India). OR
  • Indian Nationals who have completed their undergraduate programme outside India. OR
  • Indian Nationals who have acquired NRI status and holding it for the last three years after obtaining undergraduate degree from India. OR
  • Indian Nationals who have completed undergraduate programme in any CFTI under the DASA Scheme. OR
  • Indian Nationals who have completed undergraduate programme in India but have completed their 11th and 12th standard (or equivalent) from outside India

DASA PG 2022 Application Form

The application form for DASA PG 2022 has been released in online mode only. Those who want to apply need to fill and submit the application form through the official website. The complete process of application form submission is explained below.

  • To start the application process, aspirants have to register on the official website i.e. https://dasanit.org.
  • At the time of registration, applicants need to provide their email address, and phone number.
  • The verification link will be sent to the registered email ID of the candidates.
  • Next, aspirants have to login in order to access the main application form.
  • In the main application form, candidates have to provide their educational, personal, and contact details.
  • Apart from this, candidates are required to upload the scanned images of their passport size photograph and signature.
  • The format and size of the scanned images are given below-

  • It is also necessary for all the candidates to pay the required application fee.
  • It is also recommended to take a print out of the application form submitted.

Along with the application form, it is also required for all the candidates to upload the scanned images of the following documents-

  • Proof for Date of Birth (Secondary Education Board/ University Certificate or any certificate issued by the Govt. authorities.
  • Provisional/ Degree certificate (if degree is completed).
  • Proof for Residential Eligibility for the Indian Nationals who completed their UG from India.
  • Scanned copy of the GRE/ GMAT score.
  • Passport size photograph ( The Nationals of Nepal who don’t have a passport can submit the copy of Authenticated Citizenship Card).
  • Mark sheets/ Grade card of all the semesters of qualifying examination.
  • Course Completion certificate from Institution (for result awaiting candidates).
  • Proof for having acquired and holding the NRI status for three years/ Proof for having completed a UG course degree in any CFTI under the DASA Scheme (Certificate from Institution)/ Proof for having completed 11th and 12th class or equivalent from outside India (Certificate from school authorities).
  • Proof and details of the fee payment in case you have paid via SWIFT transfer.

Application fee

The application fee is different for the candidates of various categories as given below-

  • All Candidates from other than SAARC countries – US $ 300 (Registration Fee) + US $ 4000 (Tuition Fee)
  • Candidates from SAARC countries – US $ 300 (Registration Fee) + US $ 2000 (Tuition Fee)

Note: The applicants who are living in India or abroad or also applicants from Nepal and Bhutan can pay prescribed fees under DASA scheme either in US Dollars or in Equivalent Indian Rupees.

Mode of payment

The application fee can be paid in any of the following mode –

  • E-Payment
  • National Electronic Funds Transfer (NEFT)
  • Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication (SWIFT)
  • Real Time Gross Settlement (RTGS)

Selection Process and Merit List

  • The Selection process for DASA PG admission will take place based on the marks obtained by candidates in GRE.
  • It is compulsory for aspirants to submit their GRE scorecard for the due date in order to get considered for the admission.
  • In case two or more candidates have equal scores then the tie will be resolved in the following manner.
    • On the basis of marks obtained in analytical writing and quantitative reasoning
    • In case the tie continues then date of birth of the candidate will be compared and the older candidate will be given higher preference.
  • The DASA PG merit list 2022 of the selected candidates will be published online through the official website.

Counselling

  • Those successful candidates who will score more than qualifying marks will be invited to take part in the counselling process.
  • In order to participate in the counselling process, aspirants have to visit the allotted institute.
  • It is necessary for all the candidates to carry their original documents in order to get admission.
  • The admission is confirmed only after the verification of documents and payment of admission fee.
