AISSEE 2022: Application (Out), Eligibility Criteria, Syllabus, Dates

The All India Sainik School Entrance Exam  2022 or AISSEE 2022 will be conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) in order to shortlist the candidates for Class 6^th and Class 9^th admission in Sainik Schools. Please note that the score of this exam will be valid for admission to all Sainik Schools in India except for Sainik School Nagrota. The mode of application for AISSEE 2022 will be both online and offline. The sale of application form and prospectus may start from August 2021.

AISSEE 2022 Eligibility Criteria

The candidate need to fulfill the eligibility criteria mentioned below in order to appear for the AISSEE 2022 exam.

Age limits:

• For Class 6^th: The age of a boy should be 10 to 11 years i.e. the candidate should be born between 02^nd July 2011 to 1^st July 2012
• For Class 9^th: The age of a candidate should be 13 to 14 years i.e. the applicant must be born between 02^nd July 2008 to 1^st July 2009.

Educational Criteria:

• For admission to class 9^th, the candidate must be studying in class 8^th of any recognized school.
• There are no minimum educational criteria for class 6^th

AISSEE 2022 Application Form

The candidates will be able to access the application form online from the official website i.e. https://aissee.nta.nic.in/. The aspiring candidates can also purchase the application form directly from the school in which they are looking for an admission. In online application, the candidates have to provide all the mandatory details and upload the scanned copy of photograph and signature in the AISSEE Application form 2022.

The candidates who will opt for an offline application, need to fill the application form in neat and clean hand writing and submit it directly to the school principal.

Note: Every candidate is advised to keep a hard copy of duly filled application form for future reference.

Application Fee

The application fee will be as follows:

• General/Wards of Defence personnel and  ex–servicemen/OBC(NCL) as per central list : Rs. 550/-
• For SC/ST candidates: Rs. 400/-

Mode of payment

• In online mode, the candidates can pay the application fee through online payment gateways using a credit card, debit card or net banking.
• In offline mode, the applicant can pay the application fee in cash while purchasing the application form.

AISSEE 2022 Exam Pattern

• Mode of Exam: Offline (OMR Sheet Based)
• Language of Exam: English and all recognized official language for class 6^th and English only for class 9^th.
• Maximum marks: 300 for class 6^th and 400 for class 9^th.
• Duration of Exam: The duration of exam will be 150 minutes for class 6^th and 180 Minutes for class 9^th.
• Negative Marking: There will be no negative marking.

How to prepare for AISSEE 2022 exam?

Due to limited no. of Sainik schools in India, the candidates have to face stiff competition in order to get selected. Here are some tips and tricks that the candidates may follow in order to do well in this exam.

1. Make a well structured time table which you can follow practically.
2. Try and make your basic concepts strong, so that you can understand the other advanced topics easily.
3. Do regular revision of the topics you have already studied.
4. As you can see in the exam pattern, mathematics is the most important subject. So make sure you practice solving mathematics problems regularly.
5. Solve previous year’s question papers and sample paper to be more familiar with exam pattern.

AISSEE 2022 Syllabus

The syllabus of the exam will depend upon the class in which the candidate is looking for an admission.

For Class 6^th

The important topics from different subject for class 6^th entrance exam are as follows

• Mathematics: Number System, Fractions and Decimals, Commercial Mathematics, Mensuration, Geometry etc.
• English: Synonyms, Sentence types, Gender, Antonyms, One word substitute, Verb Forms, Adverbs, Nouns, and Exclamatory etc.

For Class 9^th            

• English: Synonyms, Antonyms, Prepositions, Question Tags, One word substitutes, Use of grammatical structures, Clauses, Tenses etc.
• Science: Transformation of Substances, The Universe, Air, Soil, Cell Structure and Functions, Carbon, Metals and non-metals, Food Production and Management, Common Diseases, Electricity and Magnetism etc.
• Mathematics: Squares and square roots of large numbers, Profit, loss, and discount with percentages, Parallel lines and its properties, Perimeter and areas of triangle, Quadrilaterals, Factorization of algebraic expressions etc.
• Social Studies: History: India and the Contemporary World II, (Geography): India- Land and People, Economics, Disaster Management etc.

AISSEE Admit Card 2022

The admit card will be available online through the official website. The candidates have to enter application number in order to download the admit card. The date, time and venue of the AISSEE 2022 entrance exam will be mentioned on the admit card. It will be compulsory for every candidate to carry a printout of downloaded admit card at the examination center otherwise they will not be allowed to appear for the exam

AISSEE Result 2022

The candidates will be able to check the AISSEE 2022 result through the official website. The aspirants have to enter their roll no. and date of birth in order to check the result. The candidates who will clear the AISSEE 2022 exam will be further scrutinized through the medical test. Please note that every candidate has to check the result through the official website only as the authorities will not send result card by post.
