Check out WBUT- West Bengal University of Technology notification for Integrated PhD admission in Molecular Biology/ Microbiology/ Genetics admission for academic sessions 2022-23. Candidates are advised to apply on or before July 2021 in order to enroll in Integrated Phd courses at WBUT.
Applications are invited by WBUT (West Bengal University of Technology) now named as Maulana Abdul Kalam Azad University of Technology for the entrance test in Biotechnology department for the academic year 2022-23.
Required Eligibility Criteria
Interested candidates should have done B.Sc with honors in Botany/ Life Science/ Zoology/ Biotechnology/ Microbiology/ Molecular Biology/ Genetics/ Biochemistry scoring at least 55% marks in the honors subjects.
The candidates who are pursuing final year examination can also apply for the exam. Provided at time of selection they have to submit the authentic mark sheet by the cut-off date to be notified subsequently by the university, failing which the conditional admission will put cancelled.
Entrance in the Integrated PhD program
By the end of initial two years, the candidates will be eligible to go on with the Integrated PhD course upon qualifying the NET (National Eligibility Test) examination as per the rules. Though, the non-NET candidates looking for admission to regular PhD program will have to qualify the mandatory interview for required admission to PhD program according to the set of laws laid down by the PhD board.
