WB ITI Eligibility Criteria
ITI Trade courses are divided into two groups i.e., E Group & M Group. The eligibility criteria for both groups may vary. The applicants must fulfill the required eligibility criteria before applying for WB ITI admission 2024.
The candidates should attain a minimum of 14 years of age as on 01.08.2024.
For admission to M Group trades, candidates must have cleared Madhyamik or equivalent examination from a recognized board.
Candidates must have a valid domicile certificate.

West Bengal ITI Admission 2024 Merit List
Candidates will be allowed to check the West Bengal ITI Merit List online only from the official website. It is expected that the authority will release the WB Merit list in June 2024. The merit list will be prepared separately for M group and E group trades.
The WB ITI merit list will be available in pdf format. Candidates whose names are available in the merit list will be considered eligible for the counselling round, choice filling, and seat allotment.
WB ITI 2024 Admission Process
The selected students will be offered admission into various ITI trades at Government and private ITIs located in West Bengal state. There will be no separate entrance exam will be organized by the authority for admission to ITI trades.
Admission will be done through the candidate’s merit scores of class 8th/ 10th level. West Bengal State Council for Vocational Training will organize the WB ITI counselling 2024 in multiple rounds. Selected candidates must attend the counselling process to get admission to ITI trades. Candidates have to register online for the wbscvt ITI counselling procedure.
While registering for online counselling, candidates must choice ITI courses and ITI institutes in the order of preference. The seat allotment will be done based on the choices made by the candidates and their merit rank.
Once the seat allotment is over, candidates must take the printout of the confirmation slip from the website for further usage. Candidates must bring the necessary documents at the time of counselling for the verification process.
