VITMEE Counselling 2021: Applicants who have achieved qualifying marks in VITMEE exam they are eligible for admission to M.Tech/MCA programme. Counselling process for all VITMEE qualified candidates will begin in the month of June 2021. List of shortlisted candidates for counselling will be available at official website of VIT University in the month of June 2021.
VITMEE Counselling Details 2021
Candidates will be asked to produce their admit card at the time of interview. Candidates who are called for counselling procedure, they will be shortlisted based on their performance in VIT Master’ Entrance Examination (VITMEE). For appearing in the counselling process, candidates will be required to pay Rs.10,000/- in advance as counselling fee.
The amount mentioned is non-refundable in nature but yes it will be adjusted in admission fee. Candidates who couldn’t make the requisite payment in advance their names will be removed from the admission list. Please remember that only computerized demand draft will be accepted by the admission authority.
VITMEE Counselling Procedure
- VITMEE counselling process is going to be held at Vellore and Chennai campus.
- Candidates who have qualifying marks in VITMEE they will be shortlisted based on their overall performance in the exam.
- Candidates will receive an Email regarding download of VITMEE counselling call letter. They need to log in to their account for downloading the same.
- Candidates will be required to attend the counselling in person according to the scheduled date and time.
- Candidates will have to make advance payment of Rs.10000/- which is non-refundable.
- After registering for counselling, candidates will have to complete their document verification procedure.
- After completion of document verification procedure, candidates may attend the counselling process.
- Seat allotment process will be done on the basis of candidates’ marks in VITMEE. Upon completion of the seat allotment, candidates will have to make payment of admission fee and complete the admission formalities.
List of Documents Need to be submitted at the time of Counselling
- Entrance exam admit card;
- Mark statements related to class X and XII;
- Provisional certificate and qualifying degree certificate (in case already received );
- Transfer certificate that should be obtained from the institute last attended;
- Genuine GATE score card for candidates applying for M.Tech programme;
- No objection certificate/service certificate issued by the Employer in case of Sponsored candidates applying for M.Tech programme.
- Community certificate should be submitted by all category candidates rather than OC/General.
- Demand draft of Rs.10,000/- which should be drawn in favour of “VIT University”, payable at Vellore.
