VIT University Admission 2023 Eligibility Criteria

All the candidates must ensure that they meet the following eligibility criteria before filling the application form.

Nationality

• The candidate must be born an Indian resident/ NRI/ PIO.
• Foreign Candidates studied/studying abroad can apply directly through foreign category only.

Age Limit

• The candidate must born on or after 1st July 2000 in order to admission to UG Engineering courses.

Educational Qualification

• The aspirants must have passed the 10+2 or equivalent exam with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics or Biology (PCM/ PCB). Plus, the candidates should have at least 60% marks in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics or Biology.
• Only 50% aggregate marks are required for the candidates of the following categories.
  • Candidates belonging to SC/ST
  • Candidates hailing from Jammu and Kashmir/ Ladakh and the North Eastern states of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura.

• Those candidates who have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam with Mathematics / Physics / Chemistry subjects are eligible for all the B.Tech. Programmes.
• Candidates who have (Biology / Physics / Chemistry) in +2/ Higher Secondary Board are eligible for the following Bio stream programmes only. But after joining, registering Mathematics as bridge course is mandatory.

VIT University Admission 2023 Application Form

The application form for admission to VIT University will release in online mode only. Those who want to apply need to access the application form through the official website i.e. viteee.vit.ac.in. The complete process of application is explained below.

• To start the application process, candidates need to register on the official website.
• In order to register, aspirants need to provide some of their basic details like name, email address, phone number, etc.
• Once the candidate is registered, he/she may sign in using the login credentials generated at the time of registration.
