VBRET 2022: Applications will be invited by Visva Bharti University from eligible candidates to appear in Visva Bharti Research Eligibility Test (VBRET) to get admitted in MPhil/Ph.D./Integrated M Phil –PhD courses of this university. VBRET is an important gateway for admission to above-said courses at Visva Bharti University. VBRET 2022 Important dates (Tentative)

Eligibility Criteria for VBRET 2022

For admission to Ph.D. courses, the candidate should have completed a Master’s Degree with scoring at least 55% marks in the related or an allied subject headed by a Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent qualification from a recognized University/Institute

Besides this, the candidate should also satisfy any of the following eligibility criteria:

• Candidates have UGC Teacher Fellowship/ Rajiv Gandhi National Fellowship/ DST-INSPIRE Fellowship/ Moulana Azad National Fellowship
• Candidates successfully cleared in NET (organized by UGC/CSIR), GATE, SET or equivalent National Level Examinations held by ICAR/ NBHM / ICMR etc
• The holder of M.Phil degree of Visva-Bharati or any other university/institute recognized by the university grant commission (UGC)
• Candidates qualified the VBRET.

VBRET 2022 Application Form: How to apply?

The application form for VBRET 2022 will be downloaded from the official website of University www.visva-bharati.ac.in. Candidate must fill the application carefully after reading important instruction given on the form.  They need to submit the filled-in application form with self attested copies of important documents such as age proof, certificates, mark sheets etc. along with the application fees of Rs 500/-( Rs 150/ for candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD category), in the form of Demand Draft drawn on SBI Santiniketan branch and issued in favour of Accounts Officer, Visva-Bharati, Santiniketan, at the office of the concerned Department/Bhavana/Vibhaga (Institute) in person or via post before due date.

Admit card

VBRET Admit card will be issued after the successful submission of application form on time. Candidates can download the admit card from the university website by providing their login credentials in given fields. Admit card is an important document and must be produced at the time of the exam. It bears important details related exam such as candidate’s name, roll number, date and time for the test, venue of examination hall etc. Without a valid admit card, the entrance of candidates in the examination hall will not be allowed.

VBRET Syllabus / Mode of exam

For VBRET Post-graduate Syllabus of the subject will be concerned. The exam will conduct for 100 marks. 50% are passing marks for general category, 45% for OBC candidates and 40 % for candidates from PH, SC & ST.
