Eligibility Criteria
- Those, who are citizens of India, will be eligible to apply for MBBS/BDS admission.
- Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) will also be eligible for admission to the MBBS and BDS programme.
- Candidates, who have passed the senior secondary school Examination from a recognised board of secondary education, can apply for NEET and admission into the medical institutes.
- Candidates need to have obtained minimum 50% marks in the 12th standard exam.
- Candidates of the reserved category will be eligible for admission with 40% marks.
- The students must have studied Physics, Chemistry and Biology at the higher secondary level.
- Candidates must be 17 years of age at least as on 31 December 2021.
- The candidates of the reserved category will be eligible to apply for admission upto 30 years of age.
- Candidates, who will appear in the 12th exam this year, will also be eligible to apply for admission through NEET.
Admission/Selection Process
- The NEET score will only be considered for admission into the medical institutes.
- The admission counselling will be conducted for admission into the MBBS/ BDS programmes offered by the medical institutes located in the state of Uttar Pradesh.
- The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) will be commenced in the month of May.
- The Central Board of Secondary education will release the result of the exam in the month of June 2021.
Entrance Exam details
- The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) conducts the NEET exam in the month o0f May.
- CBSE releases the result of NEET in the last week of June 2021 after the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) is conducted in May.
- Those, who take part in the NEET, will be eligible to take admission in the medical institutes of Uttar Pradesh.
