The notification related to the UPTU 2021 entrance examination, more commonly known as UPSEE (Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Exam), will be released soon. The candidates who seek admissions in B.Tech, B.Arch., B.Pharma, BHMCT, BFAD, BFA, MBA and MCA courses, can appear for this entrance test. Admissions will be granted to the several colleges situated in the state of Uttar Pradesh. Lateral entry into the 2nd year is also provided in B.Tech, B.Pharma and MCA degree programmes. Eligibility Criteria for UPTU 2021
The applicants who wish to appear for the UPTU exam 2021, needs to fulfill certain eligibility criteria. The general criteria for the exam are mentioned as follows:
The candidates of Indian nationals, foreign nationals, NRI, PIO, Children of Indian Workers in Gulf Countries and Kashmiri Migrants are eligible to apply. There is no age limit to apply for the UPSEE. Aadhaar card is also necessary to apply for the entrance exam.
The course-wise qualification eligibility for the candidates is given as:

| B.Tech | The applicant should have passed the class 12th exam or equivalent with a minimum of 45% marks with Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry /Biology/Bio-Technology/Technical Vocational subject. |
| B.Tech (Biotechnology) | Those who have passed the 12th or equivalent exam with Physics, Mathematics/Biology and Chemistry/Bio-Technology /Technical Vocational subject are eligible.
However, at least 45% aggregate marks must be secured in the qualifying exam. |
| B.Tech (Agriculture Engineering) | The candidates must pass the 10+2 or equivalent exam with agriculture stream with at least 45% marks. |
| B.Tech (Lateral Entry) | Diploma in Engineering & B.Sc degree holder can apply.
Must have mathematics subject at 12th standard. |
| B.Pharma | The applicant should have passed the class 12th exam or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/ Biology/Bio-Technology/Technical Vocational subject with a minimum of 45% aggregate marks. |
| B.Pharma (LE) | Those who have done diploma in Pharmacy with at least 45% aggregate can apply. |
| BHMCT/BFA/BFAD | The applicant must have passed the 12th or equivalent exam passed from any stream with at least 45% marks. |
| B.Arch | Those who have done 3-year diploma in architecture, or passed the 12th or equivalent exam with at least 50% aggregate marks with Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry/Computer Science/Biology/Engineering Drawing/ Technical Vocational subject. |
| MBA | Bachelors or its equivalent degree holders with minimum passing marks of 45% can apply. |
| MCA | The applicants who hold a graduation or equivalent degree with mathematics at 12th or graduation level. |
| MCA (LE) | BCA, B.Sc (IT/ Computer Science) degree holders are eligible to apply.
Must have obtained 50% marks in the qualifying exam. |
Note: There is a relaxation of 5% in qualifying marks for the candidates belonging to SC/ST categories.
UPTU 2021 Application Form
The application form for the UPTU 2021 exams will be made available on the official website of the university. The candidates are required to provide their personal and educational details in the form and upload the scanned copies of photograph, signature and left-hand thumb impression. A duly filled application form will be submitted online, along with an application charge of Rs. 1200/- for male/transgender candidates of general and OBC category and Rs. 600/- for SC/ST candidates and female/PH candidates of all categories. The payment of the fee can be done via debit/credit card/net banking.
The facility for any kind of correction/modification in the application form is provided by the university. The correction window opens in the last week of March and the candidates can edit their form if required. It should be noted that correction is possible only till the window is open and once the process is over, no further correction will be possible.
Exam Pattern
Depending on the course, the exam will be conducted computer-based and pen-and-paper based. Each question will carry 4 marks and there will be no negative marking. All the questions will be of objective type. Check more below about the exam pattern:

UPTU 2021 Admit Card
The admit card can be downloaded from the university official website. Any discrepancy in the admit card must be communicated to the related official authority. The admit card is an important document that must be carried to the examination center on the day of examination. Important details of exam like date, time, center, will be printed on the admit card only.
Result and Counseling
The result for the 2021 UPTU examination has been uploaded on the official website. Based on the marks scored in the entrance exam, a merit list will be published for different courses separately. Those who wish a scrutiny of their answer paper can write an application to the registrar, within 7 days of the announcement of result. The application should be sent to the following:

The qualified candidates will have to appear for the counseling process which will be conducted online. A counseling fee of about Rs. 20,000 (Rs. 12, 000/- for SC/ST candidates) will be submitted and the candidates will be allotted the seats on the basis of their rank and availability of seats.
