The University of Petroleum & Energy Studies (UPES) is responsible for conducting UPESEAT officially known as the University of Petroleum & Energy Studies Engineering Aptitude Test every year. The Entrance exam is conducted in online mode for admission to B.Tech programs in various disciplines.
UPESEAT is a University-Level entrance exam and admission is made through UPESEAT, JEE Main rank, and Board merit list. 80% of seats at the University are filled through UPESEAT and 10% are filled based on the JEE Main scorecard and the remaining 10% are given through Class 12 results.

UPESEAT Eligibility Criteria 2024
The exam authority has set some eligibility norms that candidates have to satisfy before applying for the exam.
Candidates from India as well as from abroad are eligible to apply for the exam.
Candidates must have been born on or after October 1, 2001.
Applicants should have done 10+2 Intermediate or equivalent examination from any recognized board. Candidates who are appearing in Class 12th are also eligible to apply for the exam.
Applicants must have secured a minimum of 50% marks in classes 10th &12th and 50% marks aggregate in the Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics Subjects.

UPESEAT Application Form 2024
The exam authority will release the UPESEAT Application Form online on its official website. Interested and eligible candidates will be allowed to fill out the UPESEAT online application form at upes.ac.in after the release of official notification.
The application process for UPESEAT includes stages like registration, filling out application forms, uploading documents, and payment of fees.
Candidates must enter all the required details correctly as there won’t be any correction facility later after the form submission. Incorrect or wrong details may cause the rejection of the application form.
Candidates have to pay the prescribed application fee for the successful submission of the form. Don’t forget to take the printout of the filled-in application form and fee receipt for further use.
UPESEAT Application Fee
The application fee of UPESEAT is Rs 1,350 for all candidates. The application fee will be paid through offline as well as online modes. For online payment, candidates need to use Credit card/ Debit card/ Net banking payment gateways. For offline payment, candidates can use the demand draft facility in favor of the UPES Fee.

UPESEAT Syllabus

UPESEAT Admit Card
The exam conducting body will release the UPESEAT 2024 admit card online at the official website. To download the UPESEAT hall ticket, candidates need to provide their application number and date of birth.
Candidates first have to complete the UPESEAT slot booking with the preferred exam time and date, and exam centre. The UPESEAT admit card comprises the applicant’s exam- related details such as roll number, examination venue, exam day instructions etc.
UPESEAT Result
The UPES will announce the UPESEAT result online at the official website. Candidates who will successfully appear in the exam can the result of UPESEAT a few days after the date of the exam. Candidates can check and download the UPESEAT scorecard by using their application number and password.
UPESEAT Counselling
Candidates who successfully qualify for the entrance exam will be invited to UPESEAT counselling process. The official will conduct the process of counselling in July 2024 (tentatively). It will be a centralized counselling process based on the UPESEAT exam 2024 merit list, class 12th scores, and JEE Main rank.
During the counselling, candidates will have to carry some of the important documents such as UPESEAT 2024 Rank Card, domicile certificate, the result of the qualifying exam etc. for verification and seat allotment process.
