UP D.El.Ed Counselling 2021

Candidates seeking admission in UP D.El.Ed course offered by the institutes in the state of Uttar Pradesh must appear for the UP D.El.Ed counselling 2021 process. The counselling will most likely be conducted in the month of June 2021 in online mode .The authority will prepare a merit list of the candidates based on the choice filled by them during the counselling. Applicants will be allotted a seat in an institute based on the performance in the qualifying exam (merit list will be published as per this criteria). Candidates need to carefully lock the choices as once the choices are locked, they won’t be able to change the institute preference.

UP D.El.Ed counselling 2021 Highlights

• The UP BTC D.El.Ed counselling will be organized by the Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board in online mode.
• Candidates need to visit the official website of the board i.e. http://updeled.gov.in/ to lock their choices for the institutes.
• They need to fill the choices for institutes during the counselling as per their convenience.
• Taking the percentage obtained by the candidates in the concerned qualifying examination into consideration, the authority will prepare a merit list to shortlist the candidates for admission.
• The authority will then allocate a seat to the candidates based on the merit rank secured by them.
• Candidates will be issued an allotment letter for which they have to pay Rs. 10,000/- to print the allotment letter. The payment can be made through the SBI link given in the counselling portal.
• This money will be adjusted in the fee once the candidate reports to the allotted institute and finish the admission formalities.
• Once a candidate has been allotted a seat in the first round of counselling, he/she won’t be allowed to appear for the next round of counselling.

How to lock the choices in UP D.El.Ed counselling 2021?

The procedure on how to lock choices in online counselling for UP D.El.Ed admission is given below-

1. Go to the official website i.e. updeled.gov.in.
2. Generate your registration number and OTP by clicking on the option given in the “counselling” menu.
3. You’ll receive the OTP in your registered mobile number.
4. In order to fill the choice, click on the “choice filling” option under the “counselling” tab.
5. Create a login id and password using the OTP received.
6. Now proceed for the choice filling section and fill the choices as per your wish.
7. You can see the choices available to you by clicking the “available choice” tab. You may also shuffle/change/delete the choices in this phase.
8. Once a choice is locked, click on the “save and continue” button to continue the choice locking process.
9. Click on the “submit” button once you’re done with the choice locking.
10. Click on the “view submitted choice” option to see the choices you’ve filled.
11. Take a printout of the choice filling page and keep it safe till the admission process is finished.
