UP CPAT Eligibility Criteria 2021: The entrance test for UP CPAT (Combined Pre Ayush Test) is going to be organized on its scheduled date. Lucknow University will conduct this exam for offering admission to BAMS, BHMS, and BUMS professional courses for the academic year 2021-2022. UP CPAT Eligibility criteria 2021
The eligibility criteria of UP CPAT are as follows:
Basic criteria
- Candidates, who are seeking admission in Ayurvedic/Unani/Homeopathy institutes of the Uttar Pradesh state through UP CPAT 2021, must be a permanent resident of Uttar Pradesh.
- There is no need to produce the domicile certificate for the candidates who pass their High school/ intermediate or both the examinations from the UP state.
- Those who have passed any of the High school or intermediate examination from the state need to produce the domicile certificate issued by the authorized body at the time of admission.
- In case of candidates who passed both High school and intermediate examination from outside of the state, they have to show their permanent domicile certificate issued by the respective body while admission.
- For admission to private Ayurvedic/Unani/Homeopathy institutes, the domicile certificate is not required.
Educational Qualification
- Candidates should have passed Intermediate (10+2) examination with subject of (chemistry, Physics, Zoology, Botany, Biology and English) from recognized board.
- Applicants appearing in the qualifying examination can also appear in the UP CPAT. However, such candidates have to produce their passing certificate at the time of counselling. If fail to do, their candidature will be rejected.
- For admission to BAMS/ BUMS and BHMS courses, the rules and regulations decided by the Central Council of Indian Medicine/ Central council of Homeopathy will be followed. The rules determined by Central Council of Indian Medicine/ Central council of Homeopathy for BAMS/ BUMS and BHMS courses are as follows:
- For General category, candidates have to pass the qualifying exam scoring at least 50% aggregate marks in chemistry, Physics, Zoology, Botany, Biology subjects.
- For SC/ST/OBC category, candidates have to score minimum 40% marks in the qualifying exam.

- The minimum age of candidates should be 17 years as on 31, December 2021.

- The upper age of candidates should not exceed to 25 years.
- There will be 5 years in upper age relaxation given to candidates from reserved category.
