Nationality

  • Only Indian Nationals are eligible to apply for admission.

Educational Qualification

  • Candidate must have completed graduation in any discipline from a recognized university or its equivalent. Plus, the aspirants need to have at least 45% aggregate marks in graduation (40% marks for the reserved category candidates)
  • In case of teacher candidates, the candidate should have a bachelor’s degree under 10+2+2 scheme with 2 years teaching experience in the Govt. or Govt. recognized private school with 45% marks (General category) and 40% marks (Reserved category).
  • Those who have a PG degree with a minimum of 50% marks can also apply for the admission.

The application form of the University of Kashmir B.Ed. Admission 2023 will release in online mode only. Those eligible candidates who want to apply need to visit the official website in order to begin the application process.

  • The first step of the application process is to register on the official website.
  • In order to register, candidates need to provide some of their basic details.
  • Once the registration process gets completed, candidates may login and access the main application form.
  • In the main application form, candidates need to enter their complete educational, personal, and contact details.
  • Along with the details, it is also necessary to upload the scanned images of their photograph and signature in the application form.
  • After verifying the details, candidates may submit the application form.
  • Next, the candidates have to pay the necessary application fee in offline.
  • The hardcopy of the submitted application form should be submitted with the following documents in the office of Dean, College Development Council before the last date.

Application Fee

  • The application fee is the same for all the candidate irrespective of their categories i.e. Rs. 750/-
  • Apart from the application fee, candidates also need to pay the additional IT fee of Rs. 50/-

Mode of payment: The application fee should be paid offline in any branches of the J&K Bank Finacle Account No. 0007010100002714. Against the Pay-in-Slip generated with the Application Form.

Note: The account number mentioned above is per the previous year notification. Candidates are advised to refer to the official notification of this year in order to confirm the account number.

  • After the application form submission process gets over, authorities will publish the merit list of candidates shortlisted.
  • Please note that the candidates will be shortlisted based on their academic performances only.
  • The merit will be made available online through the official website only.
  • Those candidates who will get their names in the merit list will be invited to take part in further rounds of the admission process.

Counselling

  • The authorities will allow only those candidates to participate in the counseling process who will get their names in the merit list.
  • At the time of the counseling, candidates will be asked to provide the choice of colleges in which they want to study.
