Age Limit

  • The age of a fresh candidate as on 30th June 2022 should not exceed 38 years.
  • A relaxation of 5 years will be given to the candidates from DA category.

Educational Qualification

  • Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Science/ Social Science/ Humanity/ Commerce with a minimum of 50% marks.
  • Those who possess Bachelor’s in Engineering or Technology with a specialization in Science and Mathematics with 55% marks or any other qualification equivalent can also apply.
  • Aspirants from SC/ ST/ DA categories will get a relaxation of 5% marks in the qualifying marks.

  • During the registration process, applicants have to verify their phone numbers.
  • Once the registration process gets completed, aspirants may login and fill the main application form.

Application Fee

The application fee depends upon whether a candidate is looking to apply in regular mode or in distance education mode.

  • Regular B.Ed.: Rs. 300/- (transaction charge additional)
  • Distance Education Mode: Rs. 500/- (transaction charge additional)

Mode of payment: A candidate can pay the application fee either in online mode using a credit card/ debit card/ net banking or offline using a bank challan.

Deputed Candidates

  • For deputed candidates, the merit list will be prepared as per the approved length of service as on 30.06.2022.
  • In case two or more candidates have the same approved length of service then admission will be provided on the basis of Total Grade point.
  • If the total grade points are also equal then the criteria of selection will be Date of birth.
  • Separate merit lists for deputed applicants will be prepared as per the following groups.
    • Mathematics Group: (Math., Stat., Comp. Application, Comp. Sc., Engineering or Technology).
    • Physical Science Group: (Phy., Elect., Chem., Bio-chem.)

Fresh Candidates

  • For Fresh candidates, the merit or rank list will be prepared by counting the grade points to be computer as per the following method.
    • 10% of the percentage of marks obtained at the M.P.(S.E.) or Equivalent Examination.
    • 10% of the percentage of marks obtained at the H.S.(10+2) or Equivalent Examination.
    • 15% of the percentage of marks obtained at the B.A./B.Sc./B.Com. (Gen.) Examination or 20% of the percentage of marks obtained at the B.A./B.Sc./B.Com. Hons. or equivalent Examination
    • 20% of the percentage of marks obtained at Post Graduate Examination.
    • 5 marks will be awarded for M. Phil. Degree.
    • 8 marks will be awarded for Ph.D. Degree.
    • In case a candidate has both M.Phil & Ph.D. Degree then only 8 marks be awarded.

Counselling

  • Candidates shortlisted according to the merit list will be invited to the counselling process.
  • During the counselling process, the seats will be allotted to the candidates solely based on their ranks and choices of colleges filled in the application form.
  • The university will also verify the documents at the time of the counselling.
  • To confirm the admission, candidates will be required to pay the necessary admission fee.
  • The in-service candidates seeking admission into distance education B.Ed. should carry the following documents for verification purpose.
    • Photocopy of the application form submitted
    • Mark sheet of PG Exam
    • Certificate and Mark sheet of NCTE recognized program
    • BU registration certificate
    • PWD certificate/ Caste certificate
    • Joining letter and Experience certificate (for in-service candidates)
    • Online fee payment receipt/ NEFT challan/ Bank Challan
    • Admit card of SF or equivalent exam
    • Mark sheet of SF or equivalent exam
    • Mark sheet of UG Exam
