TS EDCET 2022: Osmania University, Hyderabad will conduct the Telangana State Education Common Entrance Test 2022 or TS EDCET 2022 on behalf of TSCHE. The aim of this exam is to shortlist candidates for admission to 2 years B.Ed regular course in the colleges of Education in Telangana. TS EDCET 2022 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must ensure that they meet the following criteria before filling the application form.

Nativity

• The candidate should be of Indian Nationality
• Candidates must satisfy ‘local’ / ‘non- local’ Status requirements as laid down in the Telangana Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admission) Order, 1974, as subsequently amended.

Age limit

• The candidate should have completed the age of 19 years as on 1st July 2022.
• There shall be no maximum age limit.

Educational Qualification

• Candidates need to have any of the following degrees with a minimum of 50% marks (40% marks for SC/ ST/ BC and Physically Challenged categories – B.A, B.Com, B.Sc, B.Sc (Home Science), BCA, BBM, B.A (Oriental Languages), BBA, Bachelors in Engineering or Technology or Master’s Degree.
• Those aspirants who are in the final year of their qualifying degree program can also apply.

TS EDCET Application Form 2022

The application form for TS EDCET 2022 has been release in online mode only. The university will not accept application form in any other mode. Those who want to apply may check out the steps mentioned below.

• First of all, you need to visit the official website of the exam conducting authority i.e. edcet.tsche.ac.in.
• In the next step of application form submission, you need to pay the required application fee.
• You can pay the application fee either by cash at TSOnline/ APOnline Centre or online.
• Once the fee is paid, you can access the main application form.
• In the main application form, you will have to enter your complete educational, personal, and contact details.
• The details provided in the application form should be accurate. Otherwise, the form can get rejected.
• A few of the details that you need to enter are Qualifying Exam Hall, Ticket Number, Candidate Name, Date of Birth, Mobile Number, etc.
• Along with the details, you will have to upload scanned images of your passport size photograph and signature.
• Don’t forget to check the application form preview carefully before submitting the same.
• Take a printout of the application form submitted and keep it safe for future requirements.

Application Fee

The application fees are different for candidates from various categories.

• General/ OBC – Rs. 650/-
• SC/ ST/ PH Candidates – Rs. 450/-

Mode of payment – The application fees can be paid by cash at TS Online /AP Online Centers and also through payment gateway (Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Net Banking).

TS EDCET 2022 Admit Card

• The admit card for TS EDCET 2022 examination will release online through the official website.
• To download an admit card through the official website, you will have to enter your registration detail.

• A hall ticket is an extremely important document that carries crucial information like date, time, and venue of the examination.
• Authorities will not allow any candidate to enter the examination hall without an hall ticket.
• Along with the admit card, it is also necessary for all candidates to carry their one photo ID proof.

• Science (Physical Science & Biological Science) – Food, Living Organisms, Life Processes,  Biodiversity, Pollution, Material, Light, Electricity & Magnetism, Heat, Sound, Motion, Changes, Weather & Climate, Coal & Petrol, Some Natural Phenomena, Stars & Solar System, Metallurgy, Chemical Reactions.
• Social Studies – Geography, History, Political Science, Economics.

TS EDCET 2022 Answer key

• The university will upload answer keys on the official website soon after the examination.
• With the help of these answer keys, candidates can match the answers provided by them with the correct answers. So, they can get a rough idea of the marks they are going to score in the entrance exam.
•  The university will also provide an opportunity to candidates to challenge the answer keys.
• The final answer keys will release after the consideration of all challenges submitted by students.
• A student cannot challenge the final answer key.

Result

• Authorities will declare the result on the basis of the final answer key.
• To check the result, aspirants need to visit the official website and enter their roll numbers and other registration details.
• The result card will carry information about the subject-wise and total marks secured by candidates in the entrance test.

Counselling

• The counselling process will take place in online mode only.
• Only those candidates who will score more than qualifying marks in the entrance test will be allowed to participate in the counselling.
• During the counselling process, candidates will be asked to provide the choice of colleges in which they want to study.
• The seats will be allotted on the basis of marks secured by them in the entrance test and choice filled by them in counselling.
• The documents will also be verified at the time of counselling.
