Under the reserved state quota, candidates wishing for admission in MBBS/BDS program offered by the medical colleges in Tripura can opt for the following colleges – Regional Institute of Medical Science, Agartala Government medical college and Tripura medical college & Dr. BRAM teaching hospital. Registration
Candidates who have cleared the NEET Exam need to register for the counselling in order to get admission in the medical colleges stated. During the registration, they’ll be asked to provide their NEET Rank, Roll. N. and other related information. Candidates can download the proforma from the official website of the concerned colleges (AGMC, TMC and RIMS) and submit the same with the necessary documents and Demand Draft of SBI in favour of “Director of Medical Education, Government of Tripura” payable at Agartala.
Registration Fee
For State Domiciled Candidates
Candidates from the General Category need to pay Rs. 600/- and those belonging to reserved categories need to pay Rs. 300/-.
For AIR candidates other than candidates from Tripura
General Category candidates need to pay Rs. 1000/- whereas, those who belong to the reserved categories need to pay Rs. 500/-.
Mode of Payment: Candidates can pay the required registration fee through the State Bank of India (SBI) Demand Draft made in favour of “Directorate of Medical Education, Government of Tripura” payable at Agartala.
Counselling for Tripura MBBS/BDS Admission 2021
Based on the All India Merit Rank of NEET and the scores obtained by the candidate in the exam, the authority will prepare a state-level common merit list. The list will contain information of the candidates such as the name of the candidate, his/her NEET Roll. No, Category, Marks obtained in NEET, and All India Rank. Candidates selected as per the merit list will be called for the centralized counselling. The Counselling will be carried out in multiple rounds. Candidates can set their preference for the medical college and course in the counselling. A seat will be allotted to the candidates based on various factors such as NEET Rank, Scores, State merit list, etc. Candidates then need to report to the allotted college to finish the Tripura MBBS/BDS admission 2021 and related formalities.
