Eligibility Criteria for Thapar University PhD Admission 2021

Applicants should have done Master’s Degree in the relevant stream with a minimum CGPA of 6.0 on a 10 point scale or 55% marks in aggregate from a recognized University or Institute or NET (CSIR/ UGC) qualified

Or

Candidates having BE/BTech or equivalent degree with outstanding academic record CGPA of 9.0 on a 10 point scale or 80% marks in aggregate are eligible for Thapar University PhD admission 2021.

Candidates holding a BE/B.Tech degree or equivalent with having a minimum of three years of professional and/or research experience in the related field will be given relaxation in CGPA to 7.00 on a 10-point scale or in marks to 65% for the minimum eligibility conditions.

TU PhD entrance exam pattern 2021

• The duration of entrance test will be 1½ hours.
• The exam will be held in offline mode.
• Entrance test will comprise a total of 75 multiple choice type questions.
• Each question will carry one mark.
• There will be negative marking of ¼ marks for every wrong answer given by candidates.

Selection Process
