Tamil Nadu ITI Admission 2022: Directorate of Employment & Training, Tamil Nadu is going to release the official notification for Tamil Nadu ITI Admission 2022 soon. DGE&T has introduced Craftsmen Training Schemes (CTS) in the year 1950 for offering technical education in various vocational trades to meet the rising needs of various industries. In the state of Tamil Nadu, an entrance examination will be organized to offer admission to various engineering as well as non engineer degree or diploma courses in the different ITIs of the state. Basically, this exam is held in the month of July. Candidates who seek admission in ITI Tamil Nadu must satisfy the necessary eligibility criteria. They must attain the minimum age of 14 years to appear for exam. Eligibility criteria
The eligibility criteria for different trades offered in the various ITIs of Tamil Nadu will be different. The basic educational qualification to apply is 8th pass, 10th pass, & 12th pass subject to the trade.
Age limit
The minimum age limit to apply is 14 years. There will be no upper age limit for women.

The Directorate of Employment & Training, Tamil Nadu will publish the Merit List for ITI Tamil Nadu admission 2022 on its official portal. Counselling

The admission will strictly made on the basis of marks and Communal Reservation. A District Wise Counseling will be held to select the candidates for admission as per their marks and reservation. The selected candidates will be allowed to choose their course or ITI as per their choice.
