The Secondary education board of Assam (Commonly Known as SEBA) is an autonomous educational institution based in Assam India. SEBA possessed the right for conducting and offering the High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) to the eligible candidates. The Institute was started in 29^th day of January 1962 by S. C. Rajkhowa at Guwahati in Assam. Erstwhile, SEBA has the right to conduct the exams in the provinces of Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura and Arunachal Pradesh. After the establishment of state board in the respective zones, now SEBA focuses the education only in the Assam Zone.
