RRB SSE Age Limit 2022

• The age of a candidate should be between 20 years to 35 years.
• Aspirants from the following categories will get relaxations in the upper age limit as the following norms.
  • SC/ ST candidates – 5 years
  • OBC Candidates – 3 years
  • PWD (Persons with Disabilities) Candidates – 10
  • SC/ ST PWD Candidates – 15 years
  • OBC PWD Candidates – 13 years
  • Ex – Servicemen – up to the extent of service rendered in Defense, plus 3 years. They must have  put in more than 6 months service after attestation.

Senior Section Engineer Printing Press

• Candidates need to have a degree in Mechanical / Electrical/ Printing Engineering or Printing technology from a recognized University/ Institution and two years experience in Printing Press.
• Those who are applying through RRB Mumbai should have a degree in offset Printing/ Technology.

Senior Section Engineer Melt

• Applicants nee to have a degree in engineering in Mechanical / Metallurgical / Foundry Engineering from a recognized University/ Institution.
• The Candidate should have a minimum 5 years experience of operating / handling of at least 20 ton capacity Electrical Arch Furnace in Melt Shop of Government or PSU Steel Plant or Reputed Steel Plant in Private Sector.

Medical Fitness Requirement

• Candidates should be physically Fit in all respects.
• Required Visual Standards
  • Distance Vision: 6/9, 6/9 with or without glasses (Power of lenses not to exceed 2D)
  • Near Vision: Sn: 0.6, 0.6 with or without glasses and must pass test for Colour Vision, Binocular Vision, Field of Vision & Night Vision.
