Rajasthan RTE Admission 2022 Eligibility Criteria

The candidate must be a resident of the catchment area of the school. According to the rule of RTI, the range of the school will be available Nagar Parishad/ Nagar Nigam/ Nagar Palika. At the time of admission, candidates from village schools living in the city or living in the village area will get the preference. Please note that candidates from city schools will not be allowed in any case.

Age limit for entry-level admission

The age limit for admission into entry-level classes is given below.

Entry-level class name Age for Admission (as on 31st March 2022)
Pre – Primary 3+ (PP. 3+) Age of candidate should be more than 3 years but less than 4 years
Pre – Primary 4+ (PP. 4+) Age of candidate should be more than 3 years and 6 months but less than 5 years
Pre – Primary 5+ (PP. 5+) Candidate’s age should be more than 4 years and 6 months but less than 6 years
1st Class Candidate’s age should be more than 5 years but less than 7 years

Categories coming under weak section

According to the state rule, the list of candidates coming under the weak section shall belong to any of the following categories.

  • The candidate’s parent’s annual income must be than Rs. 1 lakh
  • Orphan Children
  • SC/ ST category students
  • Students suffering from HIV/cancer or students whose parents are suffering from HIV/cancer
  • PWD candidates
  • War Widows
  • Students from backward class or special backward class category students whose parent’s annual income is less than Rs. 1 lakh.
  • Those students whose parent’s name is included in the list of BPL category as prepared by the state authority

Valid Certificates

  • Residential Certificates – Ration Card/ Aadhaar Card/ Voter ID Card, Driving Licence/ Electricity Bill/ Water Bill. Please note that the certificate should have the village name or ward name mentioned.
  • Aspirants from weak sections or uncomfortable sections should have a certificate from a capable officer.
  • Those students/ parents suffering from HIV/ Cancer need to produce a report issued by a Registered Diagnostic Centre.

The application form for Right to education Rajasthan 2022 will release in online mode only. Those interested applicants who want to apply need to fill and submit the application form through the official website. Given below are the steps that you should follow in order to apply.

  • First of all, you have to visit the official website of the directorate of elementary education Rajasthan i.e. rajpsp.nic.in.
  • On the official website, you need to register by providing some of their basic details and an active phone number.
  • Once registered, candidates will get an application ID and password.
  • Next, aspirants may log in and access the application form.
  • In the main application form, candidates have to provide their complete educational, personal, and contact details.
  • The details entered in the application form must be accurate. Otherwise, the application form can get rejected.
