RAJUVAS PhD Admission

RAJUVAS Ph.D. Admission: Applications will be invited by Rajasthan University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Bikaner from eligible candidates for admission to Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) courses through the Pre-Phd test for academic session 2021-22. Interested and eligible candidates can apply as per given schedule.

RAJUVAS offers PhD degree in various streams including Animal Genetics and Breeding, Livestock Production and Management, Animal Nutrition, Veterinary Anatomy, and Histology Vety, Ethics & Jurisprudence, Clinical Medicine, Veterinary Microbiology, Veterinary Gynecology and Obstetrics, Veterinary Parasitology, Veterinary Physiology, Veterinary Pathology, Animal Biotechnology, Veterinary Surgery, and Radiology.

RAJUVAS Ph.D. Admission Important dates (Tentative)

Eligibility Criteria 

• Candidates should hold Master’s degree in respective/related subjects from RAJUVAS, Bikaner, or equivalent qualification with scoring a minimum of 6.50/10 OGPA/equivalent percentage of marks (6.0/10 or equivalent OGPA/ equivalent percentage of marks for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/SBC category)
• For admission to PhD in Animal Biotechnology, candidate should have done M.V.Sc. In Veterinary Microbiology/ Physiology and Biochemistry/ Veterinary Biochemistry/Animal Genetics and Breeding/ Animal Nutrition/ Obstetrics and Gynecology/ or M.Tech/ M.Sc. in Animal Biotechnology/Biotechnology.
• Candidates from ICAR category or in the service of the RAJUVAS and who have qualified for SRF of ICAR/foreign nationals sponsored by ICAR/GOI are exempted from the Pre Phd test. Such candidates will be required to satisfy the academic qualification for admission.

Reservation of seats

The reservation of seats for candidates from ST/ SC/OBC/PH category and others will be as per rules of Government of Rajasthan as applicable to Rajasthan University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Bikaner.

RAJUVAS PhD Application Form: How to apply?

Application form for RAJUVAS PhD admission will be available online at the official website of university i.e. ww.rajuvas.org. Candidates are advised to read the information booklet and instructions very carefully before filling up the online application form. Fill the required details accurately and completely. Applicants will have to pay application fee amounting to Rs. 1000/- (Applicable for all categories) through Credit card / NET banking/Debit Card using online gateway mode only. Fee payment made through Cheque and Demand draft will not be entertained.

Admit Card

The university will not be sent RAJUVAS Phd admit card by post to any individual. The candidates have to download admit card from the official website of the University. Admit card will be issued to those candidates only who successfully submit the application form along with fee and other important documents on time. Candidates must bring the downloaded copy of admit card while coming for the examination center.

Examination Pattern

• • The entrance test will consist of a total of 100 multiple choice objective type questions. Each question has four choices, but candidate have to pick one correct answer.
  • There will be two sections in the paper i.e. Section A and section B with 50 questions in each section. The Section A will consist of have questions of B.V.Sc. & A.H. level and section B will include questions of M.V.Sc. level of respective discipline
  • Each correct answer will be rewarded with three marks.
  • The question paper will be set in English language only.

Counselling Process

All eligible candidates who successfully qualified Pre-Ph.D Test will be called for counseling round organized by the RAJUVAS. Candidates must report in person along with required documents on the prescribed date for interview and Counseling round.

• Four -colored photographs which should be same as uploaded at the time of online application form.
• Admit card of Pre Ph.D Test
• Mark sheet and certificate of M.V.Sc. Degree
• Mark sheet and certificate of Degree (B.V.Sc. & AH)
• Mark sheet and certificate of 10^th class
• Mark sheet and certificate of 12^th class
• Character certificate issued by the college last attended
• Caste certificate (if applicable)
• Physically Handicapped Certificate (if applicable)
• No Objection Certificate (NOC) from Employer, if employed

Selection Process

Selection of candidates will be done purely on the basis of merit through a Pre PhD Entrance test organized by RAJUVAS.
