Sunny Sebastian, the University Vice Chancellor said “The admission began 36 days ago for the academic year 2015-2016 but an unexpected order to stop the admission process is quite unfortunate thing to happen”.

The University is stuck between the political rife of BJP and Congress that has continued for over decades now. The varsity was formed by Congree Chief Minister, Ashok Gehlot. But when BJP government came to power in the state it formed a committee to review all the decisions that were taken by Gehlot government during the last six months of his tenure.

The subject of University review was also echoed reflected in the Assembly in April this year. Presently, the situation is this that HJU students have held the protest and are demanding smooth functionality of the University sans any issues and disruption in their studies.

Oflately, Government of Rajasthan issued orders for banning of new admission in Jodhpur National University which has granted admission to more than 25,000 fake degrees to students.
