Punjab PG Medical 2022: Admission Eligibility, Date, Application form, Result, Admit card

Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS), Faridkot is conducting Punjab PG Medical entrance for the admissions to the various PG Medical Entrance exams at its various participating colleges across Punjab.  50% of seats are reserved for the candidates hailed from Punjab and the remaining seats are reserved for the candidates coming through All India Post Graduate Medical Entrance Examination. Here in this piece of article we furnished with the details of Punjab PG Medical 2022 including admission eligibility, exam pattern, results, admit card, etc.

Eligibility to Appear in Punjab PG Medical 2022

• The applicant must belong to the state of Punjab (as per the records) and passed M.B.B.S degree from a medical institute that affiliated by Medical council of India/Dental Council of India.

Note: Those who studied M.B.B.S/M.D.S from a medical institute that is not affiliated by Medical Council of India/Dental council of India are not eligible to attend the program.

• The Candidate must have completed 12 Months compulsory internship before take up the admission.

Note: The candidates now undergoing the 12 months compulsory internship and likely to complete the same by 31st March 2017 can appear for Punjab PG Medical 2022 Entrance examination. In case the candidate can’t complete the course before the deadline or didn’t obtain the requisite marks in the entrance examination, then he/she is not eligible for attending PG Medical course conducted by Baba Farid University of Health Sciences.

Marks Required: For applying Punjab PG Medical 2022- the candidates in General category must required 50% marks and candidates belonging to scheduled castes, scheduled tribes, other backward classes, must required 40% marks and the candidates with locomotor disability of lower limbs in any category  must requires 45%. Marks

Exam Pattern

• It’s an online multiple choice computer test. No question will left unanswered. The question paper comprises of 200 question papers. Duration of the exam will be 3 hours. Each correct answer will get 1 mark. There will be no negative marking system for wrong or unanswered questions.

Application Form

The application form for applying Punjab PG Medical 2022 will be out in the month of January 2017. Candidates can apply via online. It is requested to all the candidates that please read all the guidelines carefully once before making submission.

The application fee for candidates in General Category will be Rs. 8000 and for SC category it will be Rs. 4000

Important Dates

Punjab PG Medical 2022 Admit Card

The office of controller of exams release the admit card of all the candidates online. The admit card for 2022 secession is expected to arrive online in the first week of February 2022. The admit card containing the name of the candidate, center of the exam, application number and date and time of the exam. Candidate must take their admit card along with a Valid Identity card in the exam hall. Those who failed to submit admit card at the examination center are not allowable to attend the exam at any circumstances.

Result

The institute will display the results of qualifying the candidates in PDF format. Those who scored at least 50% marks will be treated as qualified candidates. The institute will later call the eligible candidates (those who scored good marks in the qualifying examination) for attending counseling secession. The counseling secession will held in two stages.  Finalist names will be declare after stage 2 counseling.
