PAU Admission 2023 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who fulfill the eligibility criteria mentioned below can apply for Punjab Agriculture University Admission 2023:

For undergraduate courses:

• B.Sc (Hons) Agriculture: A pass in class 12th exam with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/ Biology/ Agriculture securing not less than 50% marks in aggregate or a 2-year Diploma in Agriculture is required.
• B.Sc (Hons) Agriculture (2+4 years): The applicants need to clear their matriculation exam with Mathematics and Science as compulsory subjects and obtaining no less than 65% marks in aggregate.
• B.Tech (Food Technology): Those with a pass in class 12th exam with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/ Biology/ Agriculture scoring at least 50% aggregate marks or a certificate course in Food Processing and Preservation from SLIET, Longowal are eligible.
• B.Tech (Biotechnology): The candidates should have passed their class 12th exam with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/ Biology/ Agriculture with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks.

For postgraduate courses:

• M.Sc in Agricultural Meteorology: A degree in B.Sc Agriculture/ B.Sc Agriculture (Hons)/ B.Sc Forestry/ B.Sc Horticulture is required to be eligible.
• M.Sc in Agronomy: Candidates should hold a B.Sc Agriculture/ B.Sc Agriculture (Hons) degree to apply for this course.

For diploma courses:

• Diploma in Agriculture: The candidates should have cleared their Matriculation exam in order to be eligible.
• Diploma in Hybrid Seed Production Technology: Those with a pass in Matriculation exam are eligible to apply.

Punjab Agriculture University Application Form 2023

The candidates can obtain their Punjab Agriculture University Admission 2023 application form by visiting the official website of the university www.pau-apms.in. Other than this, the application form can also be purchased from the university counter or can be obtained through post. To obtain the application form via post the candidates need to send request for the same along with a bank draft of Rs. 2260/- drawn in favor of Additional Director of Communication, payable at Ludhiana in a self-addressed envelope. The name of programme should be mentioned in the request and also at the back of the bank draft.

• The application form can be filled by providing personal details like name, father’s name, mother’s name, date of birth, income, nationality, etc.

• Details of the qualifying exam like year of passing, marks obtained, name of board/ college, etc will also be asked in the form.
• In the application form, a photograph of the candidate should also be uploaded/ affixed and their signature should also be provided.
• After that, the candidates should submit the application form along with the prescribed amount of application fee.
• Online applications should be submitted online and offline applications need to be sent to the university through speed post.
• A copy of the application form should also be kept by the candidates for future reference.

PAU Entrance Exam Pattern 2023

Punjab Agriculture University Exam 2023 Admit Card

Question 2: Can a candidate from outside Punjab apply for PAU admission?

Answer: No. Only the candidates belonging to the state of Punjab or Union Territory of Chandigarh are eligible for Pau admission.

Question 3: What if I forget to carry my admit card or identity proof at the exam center?

Answer: No candidate will be allowed to enter the exam hall and write their exam without a valid admit card and photo identity proof.

Question 4: Is it possible to get a refund on application fee after its payment?

Answer: No. The application fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.

Question 5: What if I make any error in the application form and submitted that?

Answer: Once the application form is submitted, there is no way to make changes in the same. Incorrect applications are liable for rejection.
