PTU 2021: Punjab Technical University (PTU) is one the most famous universities of India. There will be no entrance examination organized by the university. Admissions are offered only through centralized counselling in its affiliated colleges and also for itself.

Eligibility Criteria
Below, we are providing the complete details regarding PTU Eligibility criteria for Engineering & Architecture courses:

PTU 2021 Admission application form
For admission to PTU under said courses, the university will be organized the centralized online counselling for academic session 2021-2022. The university organizes centralized counselling for Punjab Agricultural University,Maharaja Ranjit Singh State Technical University, Punjabi University and also for itself. No application form or entrance test will be announced by the university. During the process of counselling, applicants can register themselves for the PTU 2018 by filling the online registration form and deposing the applicable fee from the official website. Moreover, applicants have to deposit Rs. 2000 as necessary counselling fee. The payment of fee can be made via cash to the bank after generating Challan online and also through online mode. Once the payment is done, the fee will not be refunded under any circumstances.
Reservation
There will be 85% seats are reserved for the applicants who belong to the Punjab state & remaining 15% seats will be available to all those applicants who belong to other states. All the policies regarding reservation criteria are subject to government of Punjab.
Counselling
Aspirants can download the brochure and schedule of counselling from the official website of university. It may be available from May 2021 tentatively. The PTU University will organize joint online counselling with councils from all the other universities.
During the PTU 2021 Counselling process applicants first have to deposit the counselling fee, and then start filling the online registration form. If any applicant will not able to appear in the first counselling, they can attend the second round of counselling. At the time of counselling, candidates can fill the choice of branches or colleges as per their preferences. When the choice filling process gets completed, all filled choices of all the registered applicants will be considered for seat allotment. The final allotment of seats will be done on the basis of merit list and category of the applicant.
Result
To check the result, applicant can login to their account and check seat allotment from the PTU’s official website. After the PTU 2021 result declaration, selected candidate who get the admission will be informed through the SMS. Selected applicants should take the printout of the provisional allotment letter of the college / Branch.
