Established in the year 1921, PEC University of Technology is one of the oldest educational institutes in the country. PEC University of Technology was formerly known as Punjab Engineering College which is located in the beautiful city of Chandigarh, India. It has gained the status of Deemed by UGC and become PEC University of Technology in the year 2003.

Admission Process
- B.Tech Admission
Joint Admission Committee –2018 will be responsible for offering admission to various B.Tech courses at PEC University of Technology. Admission will be made on the basis of JEE (Main) 2018 all India rank.
- M.Tech admission
GATE Qualified candidates will be considered eligible for M.tech admission. Non-GATE candidates can get admission based on written test conducted by the respective departments. However, preference will be given to GATE qualified students.
- Ph.D Admission
Admission to the Ph.D. courses will be done on the basis of interview or written test (GATE/ NET) or both as decided by Ph.D. Admission Committee of the concerned Department provided the applicant meet with all the necessary eligibility conditions.
