PDPU officially known as Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University is university level entrance exam conducted by Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University every year for admission to postgraduate engineering courses like M.tech. Candidates will be eligible for the M.Tech admissions at the Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University if they have achieved valid GATE ranks. Non GATE applicants have to qualify in the Written Aptitude Test held by the University as well as the Personal Interview (PI) conduct thereafter. Eligibility Criteria for PDPU M.Tech admission 2021

• The candidates for M.Tech admission must have passed the qualifying bachelor of technology degree in the respective branch with at least of 60% aggregate or CPI/CGPA of 6.5 in 10 point scale.
• Candidate must have a valid GATE score during the time of admission
• Non- Gate aspirants may also apply provided they satisfy prescribed eligibility.

Selection Procedure

Admission to the PDPU M.Tech Admissions 2021 will be based on valid GATE scores in First Phase and then on the basis of the marks achieved in the Written Aptitude Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI) in the ratio 50:50 during the Second Phase. Note: First Phase candidates need not appear for the WAT and PI and are eligible for direct admissions.

The admissions are based on valid GATE scores and vacant seats thereafter are through the WAT.

A common Written Aptitude Test (WAT) will be organized for all the branches of PDPU M. Tech. admissions. At the time of written examination, all applicants are required to carry and offer a set of the self-attested photocopies of all the related documents along with the originals.

• Candidate can apply for PDPU M.Tech admission through online by visiting official website link of university i.e. http://www.pdpu.ac.in. Candidate will receive a login and password after submitting the online Application that will be important for future use.
• Candidates should upload their current passport photographs and other copies of graduation certificates in the given format
• After the filling up process, applicants have to pay necessary application fee through credit or debit or internet banking.
• After successful submission of application fees, candidates should save and submit their PDPU M.Tech Application form
