Eligibility criteria

• Candidates, who want to appear in Patna University M.Ed entrance test, should have passed a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) degree either from the Patna University or from any recognized educational university of the state or central.
• They need to pass the qualifying examination with obtaining no less than the aggregate of 55% marks whereas a relaxation of 5% will be given for the candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PD categories.
• Appearing candidates can also apply. However, they have to produce the result of the B.Ed course before to the specified date.

Admit Card for M.Ed. Entrance Test 2021 will be available online on the official website a week before the exam date. Candidates can be downloaded the admit card from the official website of Patna University at www.patnauniversity.ac.in by providing their application number and DOB. Candidates need to bring his/ her valid downloaded Admit Card for the M.Ed Entrance Test to the examination hall.

Exam Pattern

The exam will consist of a total of 100 objective types multiple choice questions carrying one mark each. Duration of exam will be 100 minutes. Questions will be asked from three core papers of B.Ed. programme as follows:

• Philosophy and Sociology in Education – 35 marks
• Psychology of Education -35 marks
• Education in India (including Health Education and Perspective of Comparative Education) -30 marks
