Pearl Academy of Fashion Entrance Exam (PAF) 2021-2022

PAF Entrance Exam 2021: The Pearl Academy of Fashion Entrance Exam is a national level examination organized by the Pearl Academy of Fashion as a qualifying test for admissions to the various UG/PG design courses offered at the academy.

Eligibility Criteria

For UG

Candidate should have done 10+2 in any stream or equivalent qualification from any recognized Institute of India.

For PG

Candidate should have done a bachelor degree in any stream from a recognized institute of India or its equivalent.

Application Form: How to apply

Application along with prospectus will be available online as well as offline modes. Candidates can apply for the exam through online mode by visiting the official website of authority or can also obtain the application kit by post or in person from Pearl academy campus.

Online application:

• Visit the official website of authority i.e. www.pearlacademy.com
• Click on Admissions 2019 available on the web page (after the release of official notification).
• Click on ‘Guidelines for Applying’ and read given instructions very carefully.
• Click on “Apply Online” and select Payment by Debit Card/ Credit Card.
• Pick 2 choices of Course and Campus.
• Fill up the Online Application form in prescribed format.
• Click on SAVE & SUBMIT option
• After that you will be directed to a payment gateway.
• Once you have done successful payment, you are advised to save your dully filled Online Application and take a print out of the same.
• An auto-generated confirmation mail will be sent on your registered Email address.

Admit Card

The Admit Cards will be available Online a week before the exam date on www.pearlacademy.com. Admit card will include important details like exam date, time and venue of the Written Test and/or Personal Interview etc. The Authority may also send the Admit Cards by email on applicants registered email id.

Exam Pattern

For UG Business Courses:

Candidates have to appear in General Proficiency Test (GPT) for undergraduate Business courses. The exam will consist of 100 objective type questions and duration of exam will be 120 minutes.

For UG Design Courses:

For UG Design courses candidates will have to appear in combined General Proficiency Test (GPT) and a Design Aptitude Test (DAT). GPT will consist of 60 multiple choice objective type questions and DAT will comprise 4 Subjective type questions with equal weightage given to both GPT and DAT. The exam will be of 120 minutes duration

Result

The result will be announced separately for each Admission cycle as per the cut off / grades and weightages for standards decided by the Admission / Selection committee of the Academy.

Selection Process

Admission of candidates will be made on the basis of their performance in the Written Admission Test and Personal Interview/Studio Test. The course and college will be awarded to successful applicants on the basis of their rank and preference.
