North Eastern Regional Institute of Science and Technology Admission 2023-24 (NERIST Admission 2023): The NERIST Entrance Examination 2023 (NEE 2023) will be conducted at three Levels which are NEE-I, NEE-II, and NEE-III. Candidates can get admission in the institute in the respective modules as per the level of exam viz., Base Module, Diploma Module & Degree Module of Engineering & Technology.  The NERIST Entrance Examination is conducted by the Institute at various examination centers in the states of Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Manipur, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim, and Tripura. Candidates are selected on the basis of the merit list which is made on the basis of the marks attained by the candidates in the NEE 2023. The NERIST releases the official notification for NEE-I, II & III on the official website and publishes in the national and regional level newspapers of the North Eastern locality in December /January every year.

North Eastern Regional Institute of Science and Technology (NERIST) is an institute which offers admission to the candidates in a various course in science and technology. Admission Process

NERIST Entrance Exam (NEE) is conducted by the NERIST to select the eligible candidates who want to take admission in the institute to pursue various programmes of their choice and ability/eligibility. Candidates are required to take part in the engineering examination which is usually conducted at three levels viz., NEE-I, NEE-II, and NEE-III. After qualifying the examinations, candidates can get admission in the respective courses offered by the Institute on the basis of the score attained by them in the entrance exam. In the following points, the details about the seats have been about seat allocation:

• Of all the seats in each of the modules for direct admission, 80% of seats are reserved for the candidates of the seven sister’s states of North East India.
• 10% of the seats are filled up by the candidates from the rest of the States under the All India (AI) quota.
• From the 10% seats, 3% of the seats are reserved for physically handicapped candidates with 40-75% locomotors disability.
