Course details
B.Sc. (Actuarial Science) is a full-time study programme of 3 years (six semesters) duration after Higher Secondary Class or 12th standard being run in the Department of Actuarial Science since 2010.
The total intake capacity of course- 40 seats
Eligibility Criteria
An applicant who has done H.S.C from any stream (Science/ Commerce/Arts) with one of the subject Mathematics and has scored minimum of 50% (45% for candidates from reserved category) marks in Mathematics are considered eligible to apply for admission.
Reservation of seats
Out of total seats, 70% seats will be reserved for the students passed from Maharashtra State Boards and 30% seats are reserved for applicants qualified from other State Boards of India. As per reservation rules, there will be 50% of seats are reserved for SC/ST/NT/OBC candidates from the state of Maharashtra.
NMU B.Sc. (Actuarial Science) Application Form: How to apply?
Interested and eligible candidates can download the application form from University website i.e. www.nmu.ac.in. Submit your application form in person to the office of Department of Actuarial Science, School of Mathematical Sciences, North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon -425 001 as per given schedule.
Applicants should not attach the original documents/certificates along with this application form. Incomplete application forms will not be entertained. Applicants have to pay complete fees at the time of spot admission. The payment of Rs 300/ as processing fee should be made in the form of Demand Draft drawn in favor of “The Finance and Accounts Officer, North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon”
