Graduate Management Aptitude Council (GMAC) is the respective authority that organizes NMAT annually. NMAT (NIMIMS Management Aptitude Test) also known as NMAT by GMAC is a national- level entrance examination for admission to management courses.
Admission through NMAT will be offered at NMIMS University and other top B-Schools in India as well as abroad. Earlier, the exam was conducted by Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies. The selection of candidates will be based on the performance of applicants in three sections i.e., Language Skills, Quantitative Skills and Logical Reasoning.

NMAT Eligibility Criteria
Candidates need to satisfy the necessary eligibility criteria before applying for NMAT Registration.
Candidates should have done bachelor’s degree in any discipline with no less than 50% marks.
Candidates appearing in the final year of the qualifying examination are also eligible to apply for the exam.
There will be no age limit to apply for NMAT 2024.
NMAT Application Form 2024
Interested and eligible candidates must submit the application form as per the prescribed schedule. Candidates will have to complete the online registration by visiting the official website. Aspirants can take the exam maximum of three times –the first attempt plus a maximum of two retake attempts.
Applicants should enter their basic personal details, educational details, contact details, work experience details, etc. in the online application form.
They have to upload scanned images of documents such as a photograph, signature and other documents in a specific format. After filling out the form, submit the online application fee.
Candidates will be allowed to schedule a retake after the successful completion of a scheduled attempt and the retake test will be taken after a specified gap from the last attempt.
Verify the details carefully before the final submission. Don’t forget to take the printout of the application form for further use.

NMAT Admit Card
The conducting body will release the NMAT admit card 2024 online mode on the official website. Only the registered candidates will be allowed to download the NMAT admit card. However, they first have to complete the NMAT Slot booking process to get the admit card.
To access the NMAT Hall ticket, candidates will have to provide their application number and password in the online portal. Admit card is an important document to carry while appearing at the examination centre.
NMAT cut-off 2024
NMAT cutoff will be declared in online mode after the announcement of the result. The cutoff marks will be published separately for each NMAT Participating institute. Candidates who achieve the minimum cutoff marks will be considered eligible for admission.
NMAT Counselling 2024
The authority will invite qualified candidates for NMAT Counselling process which is the last stage of the admission process. The process of counselling will include group discussion and Personal Interview (GD and PI) rounds organized by the participating institutes.
The participating institutes may also conduct a WAT (Writing Ability Test) or Case Discussion (CD) round instead of the conventional GD round. Final admission will be based on the candidate’s score in the NMAT examination and performance in the interview round.

The NMAT registration window opens once every year. However, candidates can take the test thrice.
Candidates need to score at least 205-250 marks in the NMAT for admission to the MBA course at NMIMS Mumbai.
The difficulty level of the exam is moderate.
