NIT Nagpur is offering Ph.D. courses in the various areas of Engineering and Sciences such as electrical, civil, computer science, electronics, applied mechanics, architecture, applied sciences etc.
Admission Process:
Selection of candidate will be made on the basis of considering following aspects along with respective weightage.
- Written Exam: 40% weightage
- Percentile Gate Score: 40%
- Personal Interview: 20%
Eligibility Criteria:
Candidate must possess M.E/ M.Tech / M.Arch/ M.Plan/ M.Sc degree in relevant discipline.
They should have a valid GATE/ NET exam score.
Candidate must hold minimum 5 year experience in the industry.
Admission procedure for B.tech & B.Arch in NIT Nagpur
Candidates will get admissions in B.tech and B.Arch courses at NIT Nagpur based on their performance in JEE Mains 2016 exam. This entrance exam is hosted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) for admission of aspirants under various undergraduate engineering programmes.
Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates should be passed 10+2 with Science (Mathematics) from recognized board or organization.
Candidate must have completed 17 years of age.
Admission procedure for M.tech in NIT Nagpur
M.tech admissions at NIT Nagpur are truly based on CCMT 2021 (Centralized Counseling for MTech Admission). Candidates with a valid GATE score are required to appear in CCMT for receiving admission into M.tech courses at NIT Nagpur.
Eligibility Criteria:
Candidate must have a valid GATE score and excellent academic record.
Admission procedure for M.Sc in NIT Nagpur
NIT Nagpur is offering M.Sc course in various streams such as Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
Admission Process:
JAM qualified applicants with their suitable score will be considered for the admission to M.Sc courses based on inter-se-merit
Eligibility Criteria:
Candidate having B.Sc/Bachelors degree with at least of 60% marks aggregate or equivalent grade (55% for reserved category) with Physics/Chemistry/Mathematics as one of the major subjects to be eligible for the particular program.
