Admission Procedure for B.Tech in NIT Jamshedpur

NIT Jamshedpur offers four year B.Tech programme in different disciplines including civil engineering, EEE, CSE, ME, ECE, Manufacturing engineering etc.

Admission Process:

Admission of candidate is made on the basis of JEE Mains rank which is hosted by the Central Board of Secondary Education.

Eligibility Criteria:

Admission Procedure for M.Tech in NIT Jamshedpur

Candidate will get admission into M. Tech courses at NIT Jamshedpur through GATE score and their performance at a screening test and interview conducted by the institute.

Eligibility Criteria

Students can apply for CCMT only if they have a valid GATE score.

Candidate must have secured 60% marks or CGPA of 6.5 in the scale of 10 in the qualifying examination.

Admission Procedure for MCA in NIT Jamshedpur

Candidates will get admissions to the MCA program on the basis of their performance at NIMCET which will be jointly conducted by the National Institutes of Technology.

Eligibility Criteria:

Students who have obtained minimum 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA in bachelor’s degree (55% marks or 6.0 CGPA for candidates belonging to SC/ST category) are only eligible to apply for NIMCET.

Before appearing in NIMCET, candidates must have studied one of the subjects namely Business Maths, Mathematics, and Statistics at both graduation and 12^th level studies.
