NIMCET Eligibility Criteria 2021: Candidates, aspiring to apply for NIMCET for admission to MCA programmes offered by NITs, they need to do a proper analysis of required eligibility conditions. Without meeting the required eligibility conditions, no candidates will be allowed to appear in the exam.

Candidates who applied for NIMCET but failed to meet with required eligibility conditions their candidature can be cancelled at any point of time. NIMCET is conducted at all India level for MCA admission offered at NITs.

  • Candidates should be belonging from Indian origin.
  • They must hold degree of three years duration B.Sc (Hons.)/ B.Sc/BCA/BIT and five years duration B.E/B.Tech from a recognized university.
  • Candidates belonging to General or OBC category should have attained minimum 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA.
  • Reserved category (SC/ST/PwD) candidates need to obtain minimum 55% marks or 6.0 CGPA.

Obtaining considerable marks in NIMCET enables students for admission to MCA programme offered by 11 participating National Institute of Technologies (NITs), including Allahabad, Agartala, Bhopal, Durgapur, Calicut, Jamshedpur, Raipur, Kurukshetra, Surathkal, Warangal and Tiruchirappalli.
