The National Institutes of Technology (NITs) is responsible for organizing NIMCET Exam every year on a rotation basis. NITs are Institutions of National Importance Under the Ministry of Education, Govt. of India. NIMCET Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must satisfy the required eligibility criteria before applying for the exam. The details regarding eligibility criteria are given below:
Indian nationals are eligible to apply.
Applicants should have done a 3-year bachelor’s degree in Mathematics/ statistics or B. E/ B.Tech or equivalent examination from a recognized University will be able eligible to apply for NIMCET.
Candidates must have obtained a minimum of 60% as aggregate or 6.5/ 10 CGPA (55% marks or 6.0/10 CGPA for candidates from SC, ST category) in the qualifying exam.
Candidates pursuing the qualifying exam are also eligible to apply for the exam.
NIMCET 2024 Application Form
All eligible and interested candidates should first register themselves for the NIMCET exam using the link provided on the website after the release of the official notification.
To complete the registration, candidates need to provide the details like personal email-id and personal contact number. After that, an email will be sent to the registered email address along with a password.
By using these login details, candidates will be able to complete the application process.
A candidate needs to upload soft copies of documents including a photograph, signature, marksheets, and a valid id proof as per the given dimensions.
Make the payment of the prescribed online application fee and don’t forget to take the hard copy of the application form for further use.

NIMCET Syllabus 2024
Understanding of NIMCET syllabus is a must for candidates for better preparation for the exam. The entrance exam of NIMCET consists of four different sections and the syllabus will cover the topics from these subjects. NIMCET Admit Card
The conducting body will release the NIMCET admit card 2024 tentatively in June 2024. The admit card will be available in online mode only. Candidates who complete the registration process will be able to download the admit card from the official website.
To download the NIMCET Hall tickets, candidates need to provide their login details. The admit card will comprise details like the candidate’s name, roll number, exam date and time, exam venue, and other exam day instructions. Candidates must bring the admit card to the examination centre on the day of the exam.
NIMCET Result 2024
The authority will release the result online mode only. It is expected that the result for NIMCET 2024 will be announced in June 2024. A merit list will also be prepared by the authority based on marks scored by the candidates in the exam.
Candidates will be able to download NIMCET Scorecard from the official website by entering their application number and password. Candidates are advised to take the printout of the result and keep it safe for further the counselling process.
NIMCET Cutoff 2024
The NIMCET cutoff is the minimum score required to qualify for the entrance exam. The Cutoff will be decided by the NITs after considering various factors such as total number of candidates who appeared for the exam, the total number of seats, the difficulty level of the exam, the highest marks achieved by the candidates, etc.
The NIMCET cutoff will be published a few days after the announcement of the result. Candidates who achieve the required cutoff marks will be considered eligible for further admission rounds.
NIMCET Counselling 2024
Qualified candidates will be called for counselling process as per their merit rank. The process of counselling will be held online mode. It is expected that the counselling will be commenced in June 2024. Candidates have to register online for the counselling round.
The counselling will be held in multiple rounds and include stages like online registration, choice filling for course and institute, document verification, seat allotment, etc. After the allotment of seats, candidates will have to report to the allotted center with the required documents as per the prescribed schedule.
